Also, just as an aside - I really thought the comedian was absolutely hilarious. If you hire a roast comic, you get a roasting. It was an excellent set and perfectly offensive as intended. The comic did his job and actually was probably a highlight for the attendees, given they also had a laughing hound (Carlson) and an old drunk (Guiliani, possibly others too).
On the other side, Stephen Colbert and Seth Myers are superb, as is Kimmel. They absolutely SHRED the fat orange racist rapey bunglecvnt all through the week. And the best thing - he HATES it.

I’ve never held much interest in US politics, but am praying for Trump to lose this one, if only to watch his complete and utter meltdown not accepting the result.

He’ll make Arsenal fans seem like normal human beings 😂
I'm hoping Trump loses as it will finish Putin in Ukraine.

But his meltdown would be an amusing bonus. Lol.

Oh I think it’s fair to say there would be many, many amusing aspects to a Trump defeat if it happened

But they would have to go some to top Four Seasons Total Landscaping

Excellent illuminating article on how Trump (likely) plans to steal the election and what his "secret" with house speaker Mike Johnson actually is.

I'm guessing his (likely to be actually accurate) internal polling and exit polling is telling him it's bad news in Pennsylvania.

No
It's the party that each voter is registered with, so it's a decent indication of voting.

So what does it mean? Yes, we can see that more Democrats have voted by mail-in than Republicans, but presumably they already know how many people are registered with each party and that isn't changing.

So doesn't it just mean that those registered with the Republicans will vote another way? Or is it being suggested they won't vote (which seems like a stretch)?

Isn't that just part of his backup plan? If he wins, then that tweet doesn't matter, but if he loses this is part of his 'evidence' that he was being cheated all along.

Naive question from me: are these actually the votes?
Don’t want to be a Party pooper but far too early to get excited - Democrats always far exceed Republican votes on mail in ballots - Republicans tend to vote at the polling booth.

In 2020,

“Two-thirds of Trump voters say they voted in person, compared with 42% of Biden voters. Nearly four-in-ten Trump voters (37%) say they voted in person on Election Day, while just 17% of Biden voters say they cast their ballot at a polling place on Nov. 3.”

You're right, and going to speculate a hunch, and it's nothing more than that.

There is more incentive for more Democrats to vote democrat than there is republicans to vote republican.

Of course both will have tribal voters, but there is a decent amount of republicans who don't like Trump and the unknown of how the Haley voters will break.

Will those republicans "come home", they don't even need to vote democrat, they may just not bother voting at all, similar to many traditional Tories at our last GE.

On the Democrats side I'd suggest there is more incentive of both traditional dem support and determination to stop Trump combined from across political spectrum.

Similar to Corbyn here, he had his supporters but lots at GE voted no so much for Boris or Tories but against him.
