Red wave incoming, then...

If - and I appreciate it is a big if because he's so full of shit - Trump sticks to all his promises, America could be unrecognisable by 2028. I certainly can't see how he can unite the country. But then the same could be said for a Democrat win too.

Gods country fortnightly
Two reasons.

1. They are like him.
2. They have voted for tax cuts. It’s all about No.1 in America. The world can burn as long as they get the extra dollar.
There are some great Americans

But they are at large selfish, insular and pretty backward. A woman of colour was always a big gamble, a bridge too far.

But at least a democrat win would've attempted to unite the country.
Trump will tear the country apart over the next four years with f***ing Musk at his side

You are probably right. It's such a shame, there is no end to the amount of misery he can cause in four years.

Orange is more of a colour than black.

They'll have the lot as well, won't they?

President, House, Senate and SCOTUS?

It's going to be a wild ride.

EDIT: are the House and Senate the same thing? It's early and I'm tired.

It wasn't fun waking up to this. Unbelievable, how the h*ll can so many vote for that moron?
I feel the same, just woke and I'm genuinely scared for the outcome with Trump ahead.

I only ever visited the US once

And pretty quickly realised what a very backward place it is
And that was in progressive California so you can tell what the rest of the place will be like

Jeez what a mess.

Just woken up, so Donald Trump is going to be the 47th President of The United States of America’s well look on the bright side it could be worse, most of us don’t live there so that’s a positive, second it’s only 5 years he can’t have a second term and third is the electorate get the government they deserve as i’ve heard repeated many times on here.

Right into the shower then off to work to make my contribution to UK PLC and put some money into the NHS coffers to keep this ageing population of Boomers alive 😉

Fourth he might well die before his full term is out. Not that the implications of that are great either.

True, but unity is never going to happen - same as this country.

To be honest, I'm not even sure he'll last four years.

A lot of people with egg on their face as they have been following their heart rather than their head.

He’s going to win all 7 swing states and now quite possibly the popular vote as well.

Americans felt better off and safer with him as President, that’s why he’s won. Nothing more, nothing less.
