Think they might be putting the sign in the wrong place!! Either that or Dick's has two entrances!!

Just a few pics from my visit to Dick's.

Also I don't remember seeing the banner of Gus on Saturday @ the SSCF.

EDIT: And I didn't say it would 'prevent' homophobia, I said it would merely re-enforce already-held prejudices.

You said if you wanted to stop homophobia this bar name is a not a step in the right direction. Stop, prevent, pretty similar eh?

I don't mind the homophobia, but if you want to stop it this is hardly a step in the right direction.

Here you go. And whilst we're at it, I do mind homophobia.

And just to clarify, my point is that I think your suggestion that getting rid of this particular bar name might be a step in the right direction in the fight against homophobia is a bit daft.

Are you suggesting that there may be a back door to get into Dicks?

Apparently you can enter via the tradesman's entrance, but only if you're wearing fancy dress (eg Staff attire). I think it's fair to say that they'll be a whole host of new ways to get into Dick's.

I'm still none the wiser as to when this place is gonna be open.

Sounds like from 1pm until pretty late into the evenings on Saturday match days is a given.

During the week is it open during the day and into the evening - or just during, for instance, club shop hours.

Also, during the week is it just a cafe or is beer available?

f*** off dont ask me questions.

How VERY dare you. 'Tis the language of the snooker hall!

Anyway, if you're going to be like that, I hereby retract my very helpful earlier post - which merely sought to put your troubled mind at ease.

ps I hope to see you in a more cheerful mood when you nip into Dick's of a matchday. It's open to all sorts, you know.
