every picture of that mosaic makes it look better and better. Bar looks good as well too. Looking forward to the day I get to walk in there!

If it only takes 250 people then I can see queues forming on matchdays. Some people will adopt it as a pre-match meeting place and the rest will simply give up trying to get in and wait for the ground to open.

Will there be a sliding letter box in the door which a midget opens asking for the secret password when you knock?

Got a feeling its going to develop into an exclusive ' members ' club....i.e the early birds will set up camp there and the vast majority will not be able to get in.

It's fair to say we had a bit (not too much, but a bit) of a battle on our hands getting the bar in the first place (and Dick Knight's support for the idea was vital to making sure we got it) I would have liked the capacity to be more than 250, but that's what we've got. Once that was established, we needed to decide what the entry ploicy would be. It seemed to everyone that first come first served was the only fair solution, and again, that's what we've got. I honestly don't see that there is a problem - if you can't get in and don't want to queue you have a choice of loads of concourse bars to drink in, and if you are determined to get in then you turn up when the ground opens (at 1pm I think) or are quick off the starting blocks at the end of the game. It'll certainly be less of a memebers club than if it WAS a members' club, which would be a crap, elitist idea.

I'll drink to that!

Sent from - not telling as it upsets some people!

Hopefully they'll replace the grey fire exit doors with glass doors to make it look more inviting.

I can see why some are saying the names not right , as after spending £100m it gives away ammo to knock the stadium.

Personally I'd go for the 'The Dick Knight Lounge' or something like that just to difuse any potential problems

No you don't. Pre-game, your only choice is the bar for the concourse in which your seat is in. (I'm not complaining - to be able to have a beer in our own stadium is brilliant, of course.)

TLO, the self-appointed defender of the Dick's Bar name

I like the fact that this name will prevent the bigoted few from entering, should be a much nicer crowd as a result

It's not so much the defender of the name - as I said on the other thread, I'm largely indifferent to it.

It's more that I'm enjoying seeing some people grizzling over... well, not a lot really.

Serious sense of humour fail by some on here. Unlike the senior staff at the club who I can't help feeling saw it as a chance to show the finger to internet fans who dare to question them. Personally I can't wait for the away fans' chants,,,,,,,,, :D

I think it's quite funny, now. But I do think it's more of a 'lounge' than a bar. Think that carpet in there is going to get ruined very soon from spillages :lolol:
