Around 7 odd hours to go to the big event across the Atlantic which starts at 23:15.

Looking forward to this as not working tomorrow and will support the Saints as it would be a remarkable come back from oblivion from New Orleans of which the football team have done loads of charity to work the ease this great city back from the brink.

I f***ing love gridiron and this one could be the greatest Superbowl of all time. It's too close to call but I'll be backing the Saints.

I really don't think it will go all Colts way as the Saints score heavily.

Also the Who are on a half-time on the pitch.

I know it's not particularly manly, but as I don't have a team in the nfl, I tend to go with whatever team has the more appealing uniform. I think I prefer the colts, but it could depend on home v away uniform.

I'm taking the day off tomorrow so I can stay up for it.

My team are the Raiders, normally it is the 1st team you watched on C4 or wanted to win a Superbowl.

The only live game I have ever seen was Bills v The Bucs and that very good Bills QB played and they won - 1991

Jim Kelly. That would have been during the era that got me into following the Bills. Hopefully next season is when I finally get over there to a game - the concern is that they might not be there forever, esp. with the salary cap going.

Used to be very interested in the NFL from Channel 4 in the early 1980's - even ended up going across the pond for a long weekend in 1990 watching Dan Marino lead the Dolphins past the Colts.

Watched every Superbowl but one from 1983 to 2002 (missed 1992 as I was offshore). Was in a Fantasy League for many years also which kept my interest up but slowly but surely drifted, especially when the coverage went to Sky.

Dont really know any of the players tonight with the exception of the Quarterbacks but sure it will be the usual spectacle. Cant believe the Saints have actually got there - they were absolutely crap the whole time I was watching the league closely.

Hope the game isn't as one sided as the years when the AFC were rubbish and Buffalo & Denver got tatered year in year out!

I only started aching a few years ago after thoroughly enjoying Any Given Sunday. I think New England were just starting their dominance, but I didn't want to choose a team just because they were winning (plus while I enjoy it, I don't tend to invest in it enough to really have a team), so never really picked one.

I have to take exception to that. Buffalo only got hammered twice, the other 2 times they lost relatively good, close games...

Superbowl parties are one of the best things about living in the States.

Peyton Manning has led the Colts to the Superbowl by dissecting defenses and is inching his way to being one of the best ever quarterbacks in NFL history along with Tom Brady and Joe Montana.

Looking for the Colts to be up 9-3 at the end of the 1st or 2nd quarter to win on the office Superbowl pool.

Can someone give me rough times (GMT) of when the match will actually start, halftime, and probable finish time? I know there's quite alot of stuff that goes on before and after.

Trying to work out whether to stay up or not!

I missed watching the Superbowl in 1989 because my missus went into labour 15 minutes before the kick off.
