Is this a copy and pasted post from your previous incarnation ? Change the names of the Palace players from last season and the season before that and "et voila"

Of course it was relevant last season. We lost the first three games, signed a few new players AND THEN GOT PROMOTED

This was your standard trot out line each time Palace got slaughtered over the last 2 or 3 seasons , X number of players out injured so the reserves had to come in as replacements

Couldn't care less whether your team last season was better than ours. It certainly isn't now, and we've made £140m from the playoffs which will put us lightyears ahead of you for years to come.

dunno I'm lost
No, we're not. We had Campaña, Chamakh, Bolasie, Thomas, Williams, etc. who would all usually have started either unable to play through injury or on the bench. Towards the end of the game after we'd made our subs we were unlucky not to score and started to control the game a bit more. The XI we put out today was the weakest XI we'll start all season.

We are still short a few players but I'm sure we'll bring them in over the next couple of weeks. It's extremely unlikely that we'll be embarrassed this season.

Seaside spouting the same old shit again on a Brighton board.
Just pay up you Welching scum.

Chamakh was shit for Arsenal, so I really can't see him doing anything for a team struggling all season. Bolasie won't be anywhere near good enough for that division, and there is a reason Thomas is a reject everywhere he's been. None of those will make any difference to a Premier League side in my opinion. Williams is a good player, and so is Campana on paper, but they're both young kids and it's a very demanding league physically so I wouldn't want to be pinning my hopes on them, despite their undoubted talent.

I'm not one of these idiots who just slags off everything Palace because it's Palace. I do genuinely think you've got an appalling team for that level of football and you will be down long before the end of the season, although I appreciate that's a position we'd all love to be in. Garvan, Moxey, Ward, Dobbie, Speroni, Phillips, McCarthy, Gabbidon, Dikgacoi - a lot of those players will be playing a lot of games and not a single one is a Premier League player. Would ANY of them get into the Stoke/Sunderland teams? I ask that because to stay up you'll probably have to finish above Cardiff and Hull plus one of those.

Fantastic post.

I feel dirty, as I'm sure will you. But it has to be said, that is a top post.

Or until the parachute payments are spunked up the wall and another administration beckons

No it won't.

We are already light years ahead of you in terms of infrastrucure, about 130 million pounds worth in fact.

60 million pounds of your 140million is future parachute payments. No advantage to you if we are promoted in this time frame.

Your wage budget will be 25million + ( 25 players @ 20K per week) this year, possibly much more. That money has already gone for future years.

So we are already down to 55 million. And you need 4 stands replacing just to come, well no where near close, to the stadium we have.

This 140 million has boosted your finances, no doubt, but please don't expect us to accept your DELUDED conclusion that you are now so far ahead of us financially for years.

Hard to disagree with most of that.Hopefully two or three players may rise to the challenge and maybe a couple of shrewd signings could make the difference between survival and relegation.
I have no great expectations for the season ahead, but if we had stayed in the Championship I would have feared for our safety in that league. The most important thing for the season is not squandering the cash and ensuring a future for the club.
Whatever happens, win, lose, draw, survive or get relegated I will enjoy it.

Absolute rubbish ... Cms is better.

They could have had ulloa off us for 6m

They can't afford a 2nd 6 million pound striker, if they are to do any work on the 2 bit.

This is why they were linked with Ashley Barnes rather than Leo Ulloa.

You are going to need all of the playoff, PL and inevitable parachute payments just to stop 50% of your shithole of a stadium being condemned. Let's re-visit this thread in, say, 4 years time to see just how many Light Years you are ahead of us. You have 1 game in the PL and already you're so far up yourselves it's embarrassing.

Thank you-saved me doing the sums. Much better put than my effort.

Glad you have time to count but forgot to mention that one is not a Palace supporter and he alone has over 43k posts.

So that leaves 4,000 odd posts between 5 of you. The fact that you don't find that cringeworthy and that you seem to be claiming some kind of moral superiority over another troll because he's not a Palace fan on a Brighton forum means that you really don't know your arse from your elbow when it comes to what is and isn't embarrassing.

Of course, this is confirmed by the fact that you are still trolling a site for a team you claim is way below you. You sad, sad man.
