TBF Palace did quite well...at keeping it at 0-1.
Palace fans say they don't care about the results as they have loads of wonga now....good for them...how about paying the companies you ripped off in your two administrations.
And HansISALiar...why don't you pay your debt to the REMF.
Absolutely amazed the 'Flying Elbow' Jedinak got booked...how unfair.

Either way can u stop ur obsession with quoting me and perhaps have a good hard look at ur life as all u seem to do is post on nsc  Literally all through Sat night and Sun morning uve spent on nsc. I'm embarrassed for u :ffsparr: Now kindly leave me alone on MY team's message board there's a good lad Nigel

As I have often said it is because I am doing things on my laptop and have various sites opened in the background. Sometimes I can get a bit of sleep but then I will get a call out of the blue and will have to wake up and either sort something out remotely or actually visit to see what is going on. Maybe the reason I quote you a lot is because you post the most bollocks. A lot of you seem to have a real big problem with me posting on here, there are two options open to you. 1, ask a mod to ban me. 2, put me on ignore or whatever it is.

That is not how business works, I am almost sure it would be illegal to pay any of them anyway. If you bought a business and turned it around would you pay the previous owners debts? of course not.

Illegal? Which law has been broken by paying another company that had previously written off debts?

It's perfectly legal, of course. It's debatable whether HMRC would allow it as a deductible expense for tax purposes but that's as far as it goes.

I was not trying to claim moral superiority over anyone, I leave that sort of thing to unfulfilled people like yourself. I do not care about what your perception of embarassing is, I have my own views on that and put it this way, I would rather be me.
As for you thinking I am sad, it affects me not in the slightest, I am perfectly happy with my lot in life so if you think that the opinion of you bothers me at all then you are dopier than I actually gave you credit for. Anyway I have to go as I am going to watch the highlights on MOTD, why dont you watch you're team? whoops, sorry :lolol:

Love and kisses as always buzzer
That'll be an enjoyable 3.2 seconds for you.

I don't think Palace will be paying back any old debts - they need to buy some new players - what a poor team display that was yesterday. I fell asleep in MOTD it was so bad. How much have they spent ? They looked worse than last season.

Good to see that Holloway is keeping to his word to be more serious - so upset about a shoulder charge - wait until the dodgy penalties (they won last season) start to mount against them. :wanker:

Is it not just illegal to cherry pick one ( or several ) creditor to pay, but not pay others? Surely it is within the law to pay them all ?

I think you could pay all ex-creditors (though they would be voluntary payments rather than payment of the debts which have already been settled) but the problem is the major ex-creditors are Simon Jordan and Mark Goldberg. So in order to pay the competitively small sum owed to individual businesses and people Jordan shafted (off the top of my head I think around £1-2m) you'd also have to pay Simon Jordan around £30m. And pay his tax bill for him.

Given that one of our current owners is one of the people Jordan shafted, he'd actually be paying Jordan for taking money from him.

I don't think any sane person would think that was reasonable.

Getting back to the thread I enjoyed the game . We seemed to show them too much respect first half but when we bought on the subs we looked more threatening . With a few more signings with a bit more pace and quality I think we could do ok ( well 4 th from bottom ) . It will be intresting reading your threads and unbiased reactions to our every game this season

Palace worked their absolute arses off to stay in the game - Spurs never got out of 2nd gear yet spent practically the entire game on the edge of Palace's box. Better finishing/more Bale would've meant 3 or 4-0.

Thought we did ok with the team available on the day. Spurs found it hard to get into 3rd gear because we shut them down quickly and defended well against them.

2-3 more signings and people back from injuries and we can compete against the other teams in the bottom half.

Nice too know so many Weeds were watching :)

Credit where it's due, I watched it expecting to see a massacre and it never really looked like it was going to be. They were unlucky not to get one themselves only denied by a good save.

What was that display all about? Not one person in the pub including a Palace fan had the faintest idea.

But it won't happen and you'll be doomed by the time Murray gets back.

It's hard to see how palace will stay up.

They looked toothless up front until Phillips came on. Whether it's an ideal scenario, however, to be relying on an octogenarian who can only play 20mins as your main goal threat is questionable.

They worked incredibly hard which is a solid starting point. It'll keep them in games and they'll pick up points here and there but it's not enough. They need to pose a threat on the ball and going on yesterdays performance that's something they will struggle with. They were really poor in possession, struggling to string any passes together and keep the ball. Why did Williams not start? He's got to be better on the ball than Dikgacoi (spelling?). Presumably the Spanish lad will be a ball player too. Start those two with Jedinak and they might have a chance of being competitive in the middle.

I'm not convinced that their defence will be all that robust either. They defended well yesterday as a team but at some stage they will need to attack and then they'll be exposed. They need a quality centre half and better calibre full backs IMO.

And they need a lot of work upfront. Wilbraham and Dobbie are going to offer them very little over the season. Gayle didn't look that impressive either but his scoring record in the lower leagues suggest he knows where the goal is. It's a very rapid climb he's been on the last two(?) seasons so maybe he just needs time to adjust. Chamakh will be a competent player. He was poor at Arsenal but then if he wasn't he'd be nowhere near palace. They need Murray back and at least one more quality striker. And a better quality of winger than Bolasie.

As for the team they put out yesterday: Players may have been missing but it just highlights how thin their squad currently is. The good news is it's really difficult to imagine there will be three worse teams than them. Bad news is they get shed loads of money for being utter turd.

Let the games begin is a reference from the SAW films, Never seen one myself. Thought it looked good.

Holloway says he didn't start Williams because he played 90 mins for Wales mid-week, KG did ok but is a bit fat. New French left back arrived this week so hopefully he can improve that side of the team.
