There's pobably not much wrong with White and Booker, the just needed someone to actually give them a bit of guidance at training sessions and tell them what particular matters needed to be looked at each week, which Slade seems to have done and that has achieved the results we have had. Unfortunately under MA this didn't seem to happen, maybe they were left to their own devices too much, but with the right person in charge they may well be ok.

Even in a good news thread there has to be someone who slags off DK. As has been previously said if Slade wants Booker and White perhaps we should let him make the decision. After all it was White who signed Owusu and Borrowdale both of whom played a large part in keeping us up.

Really excited about next season now, and expecting an interesting summer.

Well actually if everything happens this fast we could be all done and dusted in the next couple of weeks, then we'll have nothing albion related to discus for a while

There weren't many complaints about them when Wilkins was in charge, so maybe they are OK. We'll see.

Have to say I've never known such widespread distrust of the current board as there has been over giving Slade what is rightfully his, a new contract. OK, they reached the correct decision in the end, but how much of that was down to the fans leaning on them to do the right thing? How close were we to getting Gannon or Wise over the Summer? Guess we'll never know for sure. But probably safe to chalk it up as 1-0 to Fan Power.
