Worthing
Did he?

His greatest threat came from Veltman.

The Albion played Son off the pitch.
Left Kane throwing himself to the floor.
Unfortunately forgot about Bale.
(Naturally Sanchez would have saved that if Ryan were in goal)

The fella certainly didn't do anything wrong.
He also didn't have much to do right.

His distribution was better than Ryan’s recently.
Not sure Ryan would have saved the Veltman effort, but it’s all hypothetical.

I’ve never rated Ryan, but equally don’t think he’s weak in comparison to other areas of our team.

Yeh I assume he is. But that’s not my point. My point is he’s 4th choice at the club and it’s a huge ask of the young lad.

He's not though, is he. Sanchez is better than Steele and, I think, he's better than Walton. Potter obviously trusts him.

Potter’s sick to death at being one of life’s doormats, people kicking sand in his face.

1. He took on the ungrateful supporters this week.
2. Dropping squad bad apples Maupay and Ryan.

Next stop, pumped-up, trying to get to the ref on final whistle today.

Ryan. A bad apple. Well, I'm stunned, but do tell.

Really glad to see Ryan dropped. Top short and out of form since lockdown. About time we had a decent sized goalkeeper.

I dunno.

This new fella looks a little too tall to me.

I agree. But the suggestions before this game were that he was 4th choice for sure. Steele in the cups, Steele on the bench, Walton playing half the Chelsea friendly (well he was meant to) = a strong suggestion of 4th choice. I thought Sanchez looked good when he replaced Walton and I’m sure he’s currently 2nd choice NOW...

On a side note - Veltmen was bloody impressive tonight.

Apparently Sanchez has been at the club since he was 15. On that basis its about time he's been given a chance.

Yeah, Ryan should be telepathic and go the right way.

If you guess it’s a 50 / 50 At best
React And I personally feel you have a greater chance Of making the the save
How many go straight down the middle ?
Or are saveable ?
If it’s tucked into the side netting No keepers saving it Full stop
Anything else they have a chance
But not if they re already lying on the deck

We’ve probably got some 16 year olds that have been at the club since 8, shall we throw some of them in to? [emoji2957]

The rumours in Martinez certainly look a bit more true than they did when they came out..
