Sounds like Trossard did not go down at the right time according to the 5Live summariser.. we are just too nice.

That early ball from Son across the face of goal would have been very different if Ryan was playing.

Ryan would be been ready to pounce.
He would have comfortably saved the cross
Were it not for...

...the ball taking a bigger deflection off Webster's shin and creeping in at the near post.

Saw Sanchez in a recent U23. Looked great.

He looked very confident today, was communicating with his defenders, and saved Veltman's stunning header!

Be happy to see him back.

Nothing really to fault in Sanchez tonight. Some decent performances across the park but we looked toothless against a well organised defence

I'd like to think so, but I think Potter will bring Maty back in. Just a hunch.

It would be unusual to bring in a keeper for one game, then drop him despite a strong performance.

I reckon Robbie has the shirt.

Having said that i'm confused as to why he hasn't been on the bench this far and i'd pay more than a penny for Steele's thoughts

Looked confident and made some assured saves.
Did he?

His greatest threat came from Veltman.

The Albion played Son off the pitch.
Left Kane throwing himself to the floor.
Unfortunately forgot about Bale.
(Naturally Sanchez would have saved that if Ryan were in goal)

The fella certainly didn't do anything wrong.
He also didn't have much to do right.

I think you could be right. Keeper is the one position that managers don’t piss about with from game to game.

Pretty much my feelings. Sanchez didn’t have enough to do to be assessed either way.
