Hungary needs to be sidelined. Marginalised. Removed from core decision making.

This is an existential war, for Ukraine, and perhaps, for Russia. It may escalate. NATO cannot afford to carry a nation that has its hand on the brake. Neither can it afford the security risk of a member nation divulging classified information to the enemy.
Suspension (at the very least) from the EU and NATO would be appropriate, surely? His country (where all the younger people want western lifestyles anyway and detest his government) loses all the economic benefits of being a receiving nation of EU funds, and is told that no-one will help when Russian tanks roll in - well, that should give him food for thought at least. And internal unrest on a big scale - he might have to flee to Mother Russia as other leaders who believed in Stalinism have had to.

Didn't that happen to a pro-soviet leader of Ukraine not a million years ago?

**** This post to be read in conjunction with post #15,942 about a Russian complaining about Ukrainian drones ****

David Axe of Forbes.com is a good writer, and writes about ships, tanks, drones, planes and missiles.

Forget the Russian radio jammer. The interesting detail is in the second paragraph.
'which Ukrainians deploy at a rate of 100,000 or more a month.'

That's around 3,333 drones deployed per day. On average.

'
It's amazing just how incompetent the Russians are, guess it all goes back to corruption which runs through their military and government.

Shootings and explosions in Makhachkala and Derbent, Dagestan (next door to Chechnya):

Sad if innocent people have died in this. But I hope, not for the first time, but could this signal some
form of civil unrest that will cause our little tragic ***** in Moscow a massive headache?

Yes, you're right. But it's a bit rubbish isn't it?

In my naivety, I expect honesty and integrity from people, both on an individual and on a nation-state level.
Yeah we'll have to get used to it.

The friend/foe labels are now by subject rather than by country: cheap oil? sanctions? protection? threat? weapon supplies? my enemy's enemy? aid? ...

Being reported 16 dead. I can see where you are coming from but to me attacks on church & synagogue just smacks of extremist bigoted Muslim group who have no place in a civilised world. Not that the world is civilised every where.

I've posted the tweet on the 'Nigel Farage and Reform' thread, so I won't post it on here as well.

Farage has come out calling for peace negotiations....

Even though the west (including the US) believe that any peace negotiations are down to Ukraine.

He's parroting Putin & knows damn well Ukraine have no intention of giving Russia territory. But then he spouts bollocks about everything.

Peace negotiations are not needed.

Russia leaves Ukraine = Peace breaking out.

Simple.
