Solovyov is a complete wrong un.

He has a long, long list of cities/countries he wants wiped off the map.

He needs to face justice in The Hague, and who knows ? Maybe one day he will.
He is just following orders, which will be to try to change the narrative away from the plane crash.

Online, the bots will be doing the same. Change the subject, blame Ukraine, a flock of birds, an exploding gas canister, you know the drill.

"Just following orders" tends not to be a winning defence.

Let's hope he has to test it in The Hague one day.

Until they don't.

They've been getting away with it for a very, very long time, going back centuries. Putin is just the latest. But all things come to an end. Change is inevitable.

I sense a growing number of countries peripheral to Russia, at last having the courage to stand up to Russian oppression, threats, coercion and violence. Will a small western Asian country, considered friendly to Russia, be the one to tip the scales? Take a look at this report of what Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said. I'm guessing it will send shockwaves through the Kremlin. This kind of straight talking from a friendly country, simply doesn't happen.

This will be a further test of the “friendship “ between Russia and Azerbaijan, which I think has already been under strain as Aliyev feels Russia has sided with Armenia in the long running dispute with Azerbaijan.

Dollar to ruble has shot up this morning to 112!
It's carrying on from Friday. On Friday, it began at around 100, and finished at 105.

It would seem that you can't shoot down planes and then avoid taking responsibility, without there being a loss of trust.

BBC news just reported how bad the war is going for Ukraine in terms of losing territory. Seemed very unbalanced with no context.

So how much have they lost in the last few months?

So, the trend is upwards over the past couple of weeks. Great stuff. More pressure on that **** in the Kremlin.

Notice that on opening, the ruble screamed up against the USD from 110.5 to 112.5.

Tomorrow should be interesting. A month ago, the central bank suspended foreign currency trading in an effort to stabilise the ruble, so sellers of rubles cannot currently change them for foreign currency. They said the suspension would last until 'the end of the year'.

Bring it on.

Edit: It has just spiked from 109 to 113.75. This is with the suspension still in place.

Leaked military documents reveal Russia planned attacks on Japan and South Korea, as early as 2013-14:

But the back story here may be that this leak has happened now.....

No real surprise, I'm sure they have similar plans in place to attack Europe. Regularly testing NATO response with air & sea incursions. China do the same in Far East as does NK.
