You are quite right.
What is going on?
It seems like madhouse 'politics'
Yes, it's scary stuff. Musk seems to be a Nazi on drugs, Vance seems to be a fascist. It's not good is it. A lot of Europe and much of America are waking up now to what's actually happening. I'm hoping for mass protests in the US but no sign of that yet - groups of government employees being picked off one by one by Musk's doge team

Normally for the inadequate of this world, it boils down to money and fucks.
Which of them is short of a few quid, and which can't get his leg over?
I'm guessing that for part two, it's all of them.

Are you expecting those things to happen?

If they do, I think that will mean that Zelensky still won't have signed the minerals deal.
I think the turning off of Starlink could be the next escalation (I believe it has already been threatened?).
I have no idea if Patriots could be remotely deactivated!
Donating weapons to Russia seems the most extreme thing that could happen (which is why I put it) - either Warburg or Broe said there's no way that selling/giving weapons to Russia would be allowed (by Congress?) and that it would result in Trump's impeachment (IIRC?). But I dunno, Eric - there's lots of stuff happening that I NEVER thought would 'be allowed' and yet it's going unchallenged , except by US Democrats and the occasional unafraid journo.

The game seems to be: do bad stuff, do lots of bad stuff, keep doing it, until it becomes accepted that bad stuff is the norm.

I dunno Harry. For Musk I think it's the drugs and a God complex. For Vance ....I think he's just a nasty shit bully.
Can we just agree that all three are the worst type of parasitic self-obsessed wastes of food and thieves of oxygen?

So, basically - is Trump saying he will only try and negotiate a peace deal, if Ukraine pay him with the minerals deal? Surely if his main concern is to 'stop the deaths' then he should try an negotiate a peace deal with or without remuneration?

I'd be willing to donate a good portion of my mobile data plan, if that would help?
Crikey, my mobile plan gives me everything I need for £9 a month. If they want to add a fiver to that, I'll happily help the Poles out.

edit: Italy is considering/cancelled? its 1.5B contract for Starlink, and shares in French/european Starlink competitor, Eutelsat, launched in 2022 have gone up by 500% in last 5 days.

They may be a bit behind starlink, but still reasonably effective already, maybe they'll catch up and totally hive off Starlink customers?

US defence stocks have crashed too. Nobody is going to put faith is US equipment or fascist Musks Starlink, if theres more secure and reliable options.

Italy tonight has cancelled its 1.5B contract for Starlink, and shares in French/european Starlink competitor, Eutelsat, launched in 2022 have gone up over 500% in last 5 days.

Brilliant! That's cheered me up before getting into bed 😁.
I knew Italy were considering cancelling starlink: Meloni is onside and sensible.

Also pleasing that US defense stocks are crashing (as Europe's rise)👍🏼.
