it‘ll be the same with Canada. He’s just tying to scare everyone into submission and it’s just not happening.
Hopefully Canada will say f*** off and double theirs.

A week ago Trump was ready to sign a deal. Now he's saying there needs to be a ceasefire first? And Russia won't agree to one.

I hope the UK are helping Ukraine with legal advice on what sort of deal they could sign, which would be of limited benefit to the US until peace is secured. For example, Ukraine could agree to allowing the US to get a percentage of new resources, in exchange for military aid continuing, but if Ukraine don't start any new mining for several years, the US would get nothing. until Trump is gone, at which point a new deal could be agreed.

They definitely need legal advice, as the goalposts will move by the hour.
Take your time Ukraine...anyone that wants you to act super fast (sign? ceasefire? anything) is desperate to trick you.
No ceasefire will be observed by Russia IMO

Is this true? Trump meeting with Ukrainian 'opposition' leaders, aka Putin's stooges.

This absolutely stinks, as does Musk posting it in this manner to his minions.

Amuse, that Musk quoted is a very well know,n, 100% pro Russian propaganda account, probably even FSB controlled. After this story came out, that theyd been chatting to Yulia Tymoschenko and Petro Poroshenko, they both issued rebuttals. Its Putins wet dream to try and force an election he can intefere with or seek to rig. He can dream on.

Is there anything else that Trump can do to increase the pressure on Ukraine to sign the minerals deal?

It seems that he is absolutely desperate for it to happen.

Was I right all along (that this presidency is just shits and giggles and 'immune from prosecution, pardoned (by myself), and....exhale)?

Not sure there is evidence Trump cares much about anything much, including what he said or ranted about yesterday, as far as I can see.

It is all a massive Cartmanesque wankathon.

If I was Zelensky, I might point out now that Trump is clearly not serious about peace as he's doing everything to destabilise Ukraine. How does facilitating a Russian victory help to 'stop the killing'?

What they did to Benes (and then Hacha) was worse. They had planes ready to bomb Prague
Joining the ranks of the good guys now Woody?
I thought you would be a Trumpy
In all honesty, and many will disagree with me, I have only ever been slightly right of centre. I know my past voting history, I know it has changed as I have aged, I also know that I have done the ‘political spectrum test’ multiple times and I always come out as just to the right.

So in my view, always a good guy. Just never an apologist for poor policy, planning, and whatever else from either side. I admit to sometimes playing devils advocate but if people are unable to differentiate then so be it.
