Turkey has apparently weighed in and declared that Russia must get out of Ukraine (all of it) and Ukraine be allowed to join Nato.
The Crimean Tatars are descended from Turks, and Turkey imports a third of Russian oil.....
Then there's the Bosphorus and Turkey's application to join the EU.

Unfortunately, I can't find the Youtube that I've just watched, so I can't be sure of the provenance or the currency of this.

Trump will keep treating Zelenskiy and Ukraine with disdain. At the moment he only treats Putin with respect. What an ignorant coward he is.

Why does everyone keep saying “the next four years”? We know the plan is to remove term limits and even elections right?

Edit: That's not the weird bit. The weirdness is that it's happening so soon after Trump's inauguration.

Really interesting perspectives by ISW.

It would be a massive mistake to agree to a quick "peace" or cessation of fighting. Russia has massive problems coming just down the track if Ukraine stays in fight.
