Really interesting perspectives by ISW.

It would be a massive mistake to agree to a quick "peace" or cessation of fighting. Russia has massive problems coming just down the track if Ukraine stays in fight.

Thanks for that. I understand the minerals deal a little better now, in that there's a 'bad' minerals deal and a 'good' minerals deal.

From about 27:00 for a minute or two.

I still can't decide if it's his cognitive health, or that he's a self-centered, malevolent, vindictive, manipulative, bullying bastard. For now, I think it's the latter, but it may morph into the former.

I'm becoming more convinced daily that it's both, but the second part has always been there. However, his cognitive health is deteriorating rapidly, and it wasn't a particularly high starting point to begin with.

Still very worrying.

Have you come to a conclusion on my question yet?

It’s definitely both. Cognitive decline is a normal ageing process, not the same as saying he has dementia.

This is from a study on the Age UK website.

The question with Trump is “how much”.

He said 'I DON'T use those words lightly'

Who are you to say he DID?
I'm a nobody.
It's my opinion - he called Zelensky a dictator, in my opinion that's ridiculous (Putin is 1000 times more a dictator that Zelenskiy), therefore I think he used those words lightly.
Or maybe my use of English grammar is imperfect, which is possible.

Have you come to a conclusion on my question yet?

After paging way back through this thread, I assume you're referring to this ?

But it appears from the BBC that it is only of interest to Wales and doesn't even make the lead stories there.

Call me old fashioned, but I remember a time when an elected politician from 'the most popular' party in Britain, being charged with taking Russian bribes under anti-terrorism legislation would have been all over the front page of every paper and broadcaster ???

Yes exactly, what does that tell you?

Well I'm sure that the changes made to the higher echelons of the BBC over the last few years are purely coincidental

Again the 'in your opinion' helps thanks.
