I’ve always wondered what metrics the Americans that claim they’re the greatest nation on earth use:
Most calories consumed?
Most guns owned?
Most bibles thumped?
Most cousins married?
Most uses of the word like?

I asked an American this question a few years ago and they said it was about freedom. They couldn’t quantify it though and I was a communist lucky not to be talking German for even questioning it.

Russia don’t have the finance, infrastructure, equipment or manpower to beat Ukraine so not sure having a scrap with someone else is an option.
This is about supporting Ukraine against Putin.

I agree they probably won't attack anyone else yet. But if they get Ukraine, they also get their resources, manpower and tech. Give it a couple of years to recover then off we go again. Russians always play the long game.

its not just the US supplying kit to the Ukraine. Most of Europe is and I now suspect that Turkey will as well.
The other problem Trump has is that the US arms industry is doing well out of this …….

Any likelihood of the US sending “peace keepers” to enforce new borders around Russian occupied territory? Trying to think what Trump’s next move might be. I can’t help but imagine it’ll be provocative and he’ll call the world’s bluff in some way
