Right, 👍🏼...and to carry on fighting they'll need a supply of weapons.
They are doing a fantastic job on diy drones, and hopefully their long range missile project is moving along.

The EU and the UK are making the right noises about continuity of support, and so are Kellog and Rubio,; but too much depends on the madman in orange.

The worry of course is the unpredictability of Trump, and Europe's reaction to whatever he decides.
Yes, I hear you.

I can't give you many words of comfort on your last sentence. Kellogg and Rubio seem the good guys; Kellogg said he can give Trump the advice, but Trump will make up his own mind. In Jake Broe's update, it seemed that Kellogg implied he faced a challenge bringing other members of Trump's team on board.

Worrying, but there's a long way to go. And the longer it goes on, the weaker Russia gets.

Yes indeed, and Jake Broe's latest video was thoughtful as usual.
I need to relax a bit about the current complexities and inconsistencies 😬, as you say there's a long way to go.

I need a new video from Mark the Economist to lighten my mood!

Occasionally, there is a tweet that tickles me.

I saw one this morning (Yes, I have to describe it, as I can't find it. At least I'm consistent.)

It's a map of Europe, showing flames all over Russia and popcorn all over Europe. It perfectly sums up the state of the three day war.

(Mark the economist and Aunt Elvira are holed up in a love hotel and are unavailable for comment).

This, apparently, is a thing. As per the FT, discussions happening (Germany and Hungary leading the charge) about restarting Russian gas deliveries to Europe as part of a ceasefire/peace deal.
Unbelievable, surely 🤷🏼‍♂️.

You're certainly not the only one, but surely we can add Zelenskyy and his team to that. They won't want to accept a ceasefire that allows Russia to regroup and go again.
Russian newspapers are saying that whilst there might be a truce there will never be a lasting peace. Of course they are probably being fed these lines from the Kremlin, but the narrative remains consistent that Russia will never rest until it controls Ukraine, so (as said above) any peace deal has to be strong enough to make that unlikely.

Well this one is much better news:
- rare earths to the US
- weapons to Ukraine

Any rare resources Ukraine promise the US, should be from the eastern most point of Ukraine, so that the US can only get it if the whole of Ukraine is returned.
