I don't really like Russell Brand, but I can't condemn him for fighting for causes he believes in just because he's rich, even if that puts him in some seemingly hypocritical positions - hard to avoid, you would think. I don't have sympathy for the banker either - he doesn't seem to understand what RBS has done to the wider economy, and the three people I know who work for RBS all live in very, very expensive houses, despite being mere accountants - a job which should be well-paid (in my opinion - I am one ), but not that well paid. The banker has written it very well though - not surprised it's reaching a wide audience. Find his attitude somewhat blinkered though. I'm a bit of a moaner, aren't I?
