Agdestein not even getting on the bench despite him f***ing moaning about not being able to put him or any fringe player on the bench last season.

Curbishley? Coppell? Di Matteo? Solskjaer?

1: Sacked by West Ham and unemployed for four years
2: Walked out on Bristol City after six weeks, also walked out on Man City after the same amount of time after a well known incident in the town centre, and sacked by Palace three times
3: Already been sacked by a team called Albion
4: Never managed in this country.

You must be on a wind-up. I've bet you've been waiting for a result like this. Next week you'll look as foolish as the last time we played at Charlton Athletic at The Valley.

Not as foolish as the South American who has just seen his side dicked in the derby for the second year in a row.

Piss poor.

He's spent and he's received. Don't be blinded by transfer fees. I am certain that we don't have a 'top six' budget.

Why doesn't he know his strongest team? Does it not match your selection?

His 'wanky lop sided formation' has us two points off the playoffs.

You've offered a lot of criticisms, but no positives or challenges of your 'facts'.

Just a quick one...

Point Two - You purport that he is condoning racism. He wasn't.
Point Six - CMS hasn't really been a flop, has he? He's scored 9 this season already. You were wanting to bin El-Abd years ago.

We're TWO points off the playoffs with over half the season to go and you think a change would be good for the club?

Thankfully, we have a board whom live in the real world. They don't have the same expectations as Abramovich or expect a Ferguson type reign.

I think it would be better for your own health and well being if you converted to Man Utd full time.

Ok,I won't be blinded by £2.5 million + on CMS, £250k Harley, 800k Dobbie, 500k Crofts, £1 million Kazenga, £1 million Buckley, freebies from Man U and Valencia (presumably with huge signing on fee's), Wayne Bridge on Loan, Hammond on Loan...he's spent a FORTUNE in transfer fees and wages. FACT.

Why doesn't he know his strongest team? Because it changes every week and we're inconsistent.

You've no idea what our board thinks. I understand Blooms thoroughly pissed off at what he's seeing, and I'm not surprised given what Poyet's spent. Year, we're only 2 points off the play-offs, but we should be doing better than that. Compare with Palace, top of the league and their whole team cost less than one of our players. Absolute farce.

They were the first 4 managers who popped into my head.

One of them is the reigning Champion of Europe for Christ sake. I don't think he'd come, but please don't try to claim that I'm foolish for suggesting he'd do a good job for us.

Poyet is doing an incredible job here. It's a shame some people want everything immediately, but others appreciate it takes time. Poyet is the man to keep progressing the team, but it takes more than 3 years to go from relegation threatened League 1 plodders to contenders for the Premier League. Poyet's mistake is doing well, it's never enough. For some.

Can't actually disagree with any of those points.

He's not though is he? He DID an incredible job in League 1.

With what he's spent, we should we walking the league. We're not even challenging for promotion at the moment and we're not going to with jokers like Barnes in the starting lineup.

Barnes single-handedly created our only chance today.

You're foolish.

You want to replace someone who signed midfield players and did not replace a tall centre forward with the man who let Drogba go and signed Oscar, Hazard and Moses.

Yup, on the ball as always.

You are throwing numbers about with no factual basis to what a team costs. Using a club (Palace) who, according to their owners, are losing £5m a season is not the greatest support for your argument.

Managers change teams. Whether that be tactical, enforced or just for the fun of it. Changes are clearly not going to suit your agenda, as we are not top, but perhaps an experienced professional sees otherwise.

I don't know what the board are thinking, but you do, apparently. I shall have to move in higher circles in future.

Why should we be doing better than 2 points off the playoffs after 20 games? Which manager do you think would have us higher than we currently are?

Your arguments are suppositions at the very best.

Claiming the Palace team costs less than one of our players is naive at best. You are comparing apples with pears.

We are all dying to know...

How much has Gus spent in comparison to other managers?

Bear in mind that transfer fees are just a proportion and there are plenty of established Championship sides whom have highly paid players on their staff, before Brighton joined the league. Go on, give us your educated insight...

I've actually lost IQ points reading this thread.

People, go to bed, you're making prats of yourselves.

Barnes single-handedly created our only chance today.

But sadly, the way Gus sets up and the inclusion of Barnes for defensive duties (which he's not even good at) in a position what should be for an attacker costs us many more opportunities... Not Barnes' fault I know, Gus has to take that one.
