And now they've saved a penalty. They are going to be absolutely buoyant against us :(

3-2 if that penalty had gone in and a very nervy last few minutes. Arsenal are still a basket case at the back. Have faith.

No he wouldn’t need to because he’s just spent over £250 million improving his squad in the summer.

Unfortunately for Roman, despite signing some quality players, that money is totally wasted all the while Lampard in charge.

Less points that last season. Roman is definitely going to be pondering on this...

Alex Scott and Rob Green have about as much personality as a brick wall, dullest pundits duo I’ve ever seen.

To credit Duncan Alexander of the Totally Football Show podcast, Tim Sherwood with A levels is still probay the best description I’ve ever heard of Lampard.

Public school educated from Frank senior’s WHUFC wages, there was much media boot licking after the Chelsea club doctor revealed in 2009 that Junior could qualify for Mensa.

Careful chaps GPott's main selling point is that he's smarter than your average manager.

After all he's got a degree from ...

...Scumbag University .

For those worried about the Arsenal game, this result was actually quite predictable and will have no bearing on our game whatsoever.

This is what Arsenal do, Arteta knows how to set them up against sides like Chelsea and they are always more motivated than against ‘lesser’ sides.

Plus, Lampard hasn’t got a clue tactically so doesn’t know how to counter Arteta’s tactics. Lampard is totally out of his depth when just putting 11 players on the pitch better than the opposition 11 players isn’t enough. Potter is light years ahead of Lamprd tactically.

True, but given we have absolutely no luck at the moment and can’t score/ hold a lead I actually expect to lose every game

Chelsea nearly as much of an embarrassment as people who think Clapham Junction station is in Battersea

Sterling. The way he has developed his 'footballing' brain is really impressive.

There’s been goals but all the games today have lacked intensity I’ve felt, Chelsea looked hungover, the Fulham Southampton game was atrocious and this SU-Everton game has bored me to tears. Boxing Day football just hasn’t felt the same this year, along with everything else.

It's the intensity that is been missing since day one of Covid. That's why Man U have gone 18 or whatever it is unbeaten away- every one wants to beat Man U away, the crowds go absolutely mental, but not now. That is why Liverpool conceded 7 at Villa Park, that simply wouldn't have happened if there was 2k scousers in the ground. It's weird atm. And everyone seems to be picking up points apart from us....

Wot. What is your definition of intensity? Sheffield - Everton is definitely intense. Utter shit, but intense.
