Inevitably the table becomes clearer, 5 basement clubs fighting over the 2 survival spots.

Leeds v Burnley could be significant.
I could see Leeds giving Burnley a bit of a thumping - but Burnley are hard to beat and they will spend money next month if the takeover has been completed.

It’s hard to call isn’t it. Murder Football delivers a 3-0 win, or Dyche engineers an awkward/dogged result for Burnley.

Not the only ones spending significantly next month imho - I bet that Spuds, Manure and Chelski all buy at least one expensive player in their quest for the title. In a blip season where ManC aren’t running away with it, perhaps their only chance for a long time to come?

The BBS forum has gone into meltdown wanting Hodgson sacked. I guess it's that time of year.
In fairness they did look poor even against 10 men.
Hopefully they won't do anything too hasty.

The pantomime at shithurst will never be the same without widow Roy Twanky in charge.

I would agree - and then it would be great to see Leicester sneaking through and nabbing it at the death.

For those worried about the Arsenal game, this result was actually quite predictable and will have no bearing on our game whatsoever.

This is what Arsenal do, Arteta knows how to set them up against sides like Chelsea and they are always more motivated than against ‘lesser’ sides.

Plus, Lampard hasn’t got a clue tactically so doesn’t know how to counter Arteta’s tactics. Lampard is totally out of his depth when just putting 11 players on the pitch better than the opposition 11 players isn’t enough. Potter is light years ahead of Lamprd tactically.

Not sure Lampard would play Swiss Andy as a WINGER?

Throughout I’ve had the feeling that Lampard’s wins have been in spite of him, the result in the main of Abramovich having spent a lot of money on internationals, plus a decent youth system that has eventually produced gems such as Mount.

An appointment based on “he’s one of our own” and a single season at Derby where he had some quality EPL loanees.
