When I was based in Faslane back in my navy days we were in Glasgow on the day of one of there games and both sets of fans were on either side of St Georges Square in the town throwing bottles,glasses etc at each other before the game and the Old Bill werent doing anything about it!!

totally unaware / indifefferent to the rivalry or religious connotations. just thought the green hoops looked good- reminded me of the cheewy striped sweets as a kid
