A very lucky season for Palace, any other season would have seen them perish with Parish.

They've all weirdly pivoted from TONNES of Palace on Twitter for months saying;

"Palace's squad is MILES better than Brighton's, you just have a better manager while we have Hodgson. Mitoma would get in our starting 11, no others realistically, your players are dreadful you just have a good manager"

to "it's the players, they're nowhere near good enough, give Glasner what he needs and we'll be on our European tour".

The mental gymnastics those guys go through.

Until Palace create a strategy beyond getting 36 points they're going nowhere

TBF, until this season the lowest points total has been 41.

Injuries to key players like Doucoure, Guehi, Olise, Eze and for a couple of games both number 1 and 2 goalkeepers.
I know that’s a poor excuse but in getting the wage bill down palace have a very weak bench often picking players I’ve never heard of from the u21s.

Poor management both off the pitch and looking at the amount of goals conceded after 90 minutes poor game management on the pitch as well.

What’s the feeling for the summer as few of those names been rumours will be sold and manager has a history of toys out the pram if not backed?

You’d think that Olise will be off as he has a release clause ( allegedly). However, his injury record may well put the big clubs off. Guehi bound to be going you’d think?

I don’t really know as you say Olise spent a large part of last season injured and practically all of this season, He seems one of these players that walks off the pitch ok, you then hear he has a slight pull and 3 days later his out for two months.

Guehi again I don’t know, would he be good enough for a top 6 club ? If not and we stay up being a south London boy he might chose to stay ?

The trouble is with middling premier league sides Palace have a good first 11,, but players of quality don’t want to come along and sit on the bench, they would happily do it for a top 6 side but not for a bottom half side meaning when you get 4 or 5 injuries your Fxxked…. I believe Brighton have suffered as well?

I just don't really understand the POINT of CPFC2010 any more.

They bumble along in 13th-15th every season, never threatening Europe, never in any real peril of going down. Their football is boring. They play in a leaky rotting shack. Their players are bang average. Their fans are a bit challenged. Nobody pays any notice to them, they're just a dull fixture to be fulfilled on the calendar.

Palace, as a club, are the equivalent of Stephen Mulhurn. You're vaguely aware of them, and they hang around a bit and turn up on telly sometimes, but they're just so bland that its genuinely difficult to give a shit about their existence. Like Mulhurn, instead of popping up in dead slots on ITV, they need a prolonged spell on Dave+, so we can forget about them for a while.

Glasner at the Glaziers is poetic.

But not quite as poetic as Arsene at the Arse.

I think I've just turned into Spud Gun.

They are effectively London's version of Stoke City.

I think thats being quite generous.

Stoke have a rich and storied history, with famous players and travelling fans who are really cuffing LOUD. CPFC2010 literally have none of that.

Indeed.

And they are in Croydon, not London. They just like to pretend they are a 'London club', to feel all COSMOPOLITAN.
