Not so sure 1 win in 5 with a very favourable fixture list in those 5 can be seen as a bounce - maybe a roll? They did beat Bodo/Glimt 1-0 in a friendly too so maybe they’re counting that?
They’ll be claiming that win counts as a victory in European competition.

Sadly the Palace filth will survive again courtesy of the utterly hapless bottom 3, aided this time by various points deductions. They've been stinking out the PL for years now, just bumbling on, existing as a dull irrelevance. There must be a collective worldwide groan when one of their games is chosen by Sky, because everyone knows you'll just get yet another cack attritional BOREFEST as they clamber their way to 15th again, in their gaudy jester costumes.

They are like Everton - the turd that circles the pan, but won't flush. Talk about outstaying your welcome.

Afraid so. I just can’t see Burnley, Sheff Utd or Everton getting more than 30 points. They could lose their last 8 games and stay up IMHO. That’s the Palace way.
The only consolation I have, is that next season I think the PL will be considerably stronger than this year. The teams coming up will be far stronger than Sheff Utd, Luton & Burnley and those teams just outside relegation could struggle. Clutching at straws and wishful thinking!!

And it wasn't much of a bounce in the first place.

The kind of bounce you get when you drop a flat football in a swamp.
Nonsense. They got a massive bounce when Glasner's new start saw them go on a run of *checks notes* ONE win (against Burnley, who were down to ten men after half an hour).

The Glasner march to Europe, in full:

Palace 3-0 (10 man) Burnley
Spurs 3-1 Palace
Palace 1-1 Luton
Forest 1-1 Palace
B'mouth 1-0 Palace

5 whopping points, from 5 matches. A point a game - the classic Palace way. 38 points will make Europa League next season, right?

Fair chance 1 & 2 will be Ipswich and Leicester (with a points deduction) + a plucky playoff winner.

When it looked like Leeds, Southampton and Leicester, I would have agreed with you.
Not so much right now

The exact same thing was written about Bumley and Sheffield Utd.

I think there may well be a number of points deductions to help them though. There's only so many teams that'll be able to offload players before the end of June. Although it's not as if Palace can take much of an advantage of this fire sale; they lost 27.5m last season so don't have a massive amount of wriggle room in the summer window.

Did anyone mention that we made a £133m profit and can therefore cherry pick the best talent from distressed sellers?

They got 6 points from the last 5 league games of the Hodgson era, so they've gone backwards. What's the opposite of a new manager bounce? A new manager splat?

Fair play. 10-man Burnley at home is a tough proposition - just ask Chelsea .
