I just don't really understand the POINT of CPFC2010 any more.

They bumble along in 13th-15th every season, never threatening Europe, never in any real peril of going down. Their football is boring. They play in a leaky rotting shack. Their players are bang average. Their fans are a bit challenged. Nobody pays any notice to them, they're just a dull fixture to be fulfilled on the calendar.

Palace, as a club, are the equivalent of Stephen Mulhurn. You're vaguely aware of them, and they hang around a bit and turn up on telly sometimes, but they're just so bland that its genuinely difficult to give a shit about their existence. Like Mulhurn, instead of popping up in dead slots on ITV, they need a prolonged spell on Dave+, so we can forget about them for a while.
They're a bot club. An NPC just there to make up the numbers.

TBF, until this season the lowest points total has been 41.

Injuries to key players like Doucoure, Guehi, Olise, Eze and for a couple of games both number 1 and 2 goalkeepers.
I know that’s a poor excuse but in getting the wage bill down palace have a very weak bench often picking players I’ve never heard of from the u21s.

Poor management both off the pitch and looking at the amount of goals conceded after 90 minutes poor game management on the pitch as well.

That's true although I'd challenge we've had an equally bad season with injuries and Europe to face. I'm just hoping we can retain a Top 10 finish, which, for in a row, would be a great achievement.

CPFC are London in the same way as BHAFC are Brighton. Selhurst is in the London borough of Croydon, with postcode SE25, and an outer London telephone number
Eastbourne and Worthing have BN postcodes. Doesn't mean they are in Brighton.

As you say, Selhurst in Surrey to London is 9 miles. So it ain't London.

The Amex is in Falmer, 7 miles from Brighton sea front, Selhurst is 9 miles from central London
The stadium is fully within the Brighton and Hove area. Only the car parks are in the Falmer Parish. If you wanted to have a pop about where the club is based try the training ground being in Lancing or something.

It's exactly 3.9 miles from the Old Steine/ Pier to The Amex.

I know I’ve probably become ‘conditioned’ by TB & PBOBE - but I can’t understand this.

People really think loyalty points and season tickets (this one makes sense I guess) are transferable down generations ?

The thing that makes me laugh is these insensitive decisions mean zero in the scheme of football club's accounts, i.e. wage bills of £60,000,000+ and you try to screw the supporters for what must be over a season say £10,000, unreal logic from Palace. I agree on the loyalty points but squeezing a fan for a few quid seems odd.

I'm fairly certain we don't allow the transfer of a season ticket to happen when someone dies.

They are being allowed to transfer the ticket to a new owner, but not carry across loyalty points and any discounts applied to that ticket. I don't see any problem with that really.

Same, so not sure why you’d expect that either
