Palace have taken a £200 million loan from American loan company, but, they won’t be spending much of it on new players. £12 million a month on wages😱😱😱

Oh PLEASE let them get charged. I would so love to see an asterisk beside their name in the League table soon.

The 125m figure in that article doesn’t sound right, even though it’s got El Pres’ name next to it. According to the figures they’ve published for the last 3 seasons 20-23, they lost 40m, 24m and 27m. That’s only 91m, over 3 seasons and 20-21 was a COVID season so they’d be able to claim around 20m extra for FFP limits.

Here’s the link to the summary of their latest figures for 22-23. Tying to put a positive spin on the increased loss they proudly state “To achieve a higher league placing while keeping the squad wage bill flat is very positive”. Doesn’t mention that they only went from 12th to he dizzy heights of 11th with fewer points won than the previous season. Always celebrate the little victories, eh?

Nonsense. They got a massive bounce when Glasner's new start saw them go on a run of *checks notes* ONE win (against Burnley, who were down to ten men after half an hour).

The Glasner march to Europe, in full:

Palace 3-0 (10 man) Burnley
Spurs 3-1 Palace
Palace 1-1 Luton
Forest 1-1 Palace
B'mouth 1-0 Palace

5 whopping points, from 5 matches. A point a game - the classic Palace way. 38 points will make Europa League next season, right?
Classic seaweed fan - you missed the Bodo/Glimt 1-0 win out the list.

The article has @El Presidente's name attached, but I can't see that he has made any reference to it.
Palace haven't lost £125m (unless there is something unexpected in their accounts).

Seems to be incorrect.

It must the £125m of ringfenced funds for the single stand Parish has been promising them for the last decade.

Maybe the article is literal and referring to the ring fenced stand money that has been lost or unaccounted for?

I can imagine the club are taking out a loan to either buy out 2 of the yanks or getting some finance for the stand.

Best performance of season today - 10 mins of balanced football with the odd attack. Things are moving in the right direction again. Left the ring fenced money alone cleverly and took a loan for other bits - the epitome of a well ran football club since 2010 🙌

Silent all game - tried a pathetically weird and inaudible new song once - then let’s get the megaphone out at the end and try to get on tv again lads 🤣
