Are you claiming some sort of credit for that ?

Aye Carumba.

Credit?

Not at all. It was the right thing to do.

Something that Simon Jordan hadn't done & with his payoff from the consortium he still wouldn't have done.

It does make me laugh that the supporters get the shit end of the stick when it's chairmen & boards of directors who get clubs in this situation. If the fans did question why the chairman spends good money on shit players they wouldn't get listened to. Same as managers. Clubs are run more as a dictatorship than a co-operative and unfortunately that will not change.

On a similar note did you chip in to help your chairman pay his £1 per £1 owed?

Thought not.

There was never any Xp in the £1 to pay. The Albion have never been in administration. Ever.

Why is this point so hard for you to grasp?

Oh behave - fans are grateful that we've even got a club and the support on here from those with a brain. Equal bile from a few but that's football.

I don't expect you to support us or wish our demise. However, you obviously cannot control your core bitterness.

At the end of the day I want BHA to lose every game and you want us to do so, which would mean changing divisions but for neither of us to face liquidation. You can only take the moral high ground because TB pumped in £90m. Otherwise whose to say you wouldn't be in exactly the same position?

You are such an ignorant twat, I got slagged off for supporting you ! We can take the moral high ground because we had our ground sold from under us to pay our debts, unlike Palarse we have never been in administration let alone become a regular user of the process. What Tony Bloom has pumped into this club is academic and we are not and never have been in the situation that our and have previously been in. We have never short changed our creditors, that's not 'Moral High Ground' that's just a fact.

Given the fact that you are preparing to pay ONE PENNY IN THE POUND on your debts I think you would do well to shut up.

It's good to see the true feelings come out & I expect there's a fair few who are disappointed by yesterday's outcome.

I think it's quite shocking that after all the support that Palace fans gave you, marching at the Goldstone Ground and readily supporting the REMF, that we have been delivered a slap in the face by 'fans' who couldn't give a little bit of support back by signing a f*cking petition.

There's been a severe lack of class shown & this will be remembered.

How many Palace fans are we really talking about here ? 10 ? 20 ? We took action and didn't resort to begging for help like you have on here, mind you, as a Croydon resident I expect you have a warped idea of class in any case.

Its been a minority to be fair.

You think we haven't chipped in? 13 years of Priestfield and Withdean at the ridiculous prices we've been paying isn't chipping in? How the f*** do you think we've managed to stay in business all these years? While paying our bills and fighting an 11 year planning battle costing millions I might add.

I think this is at the root of a lot of the arguments on this topic over the last few days. Some Brighton fans on this board (myself amongst them) have issues with the manner in which Crystal Palace FC has handled itself (getting into administration for the 2nd time in recent years). The Palace fans on the board then take umbrage at this. However I have absolutely nothing against Palace fans; it is the football club that has misbehaved, and the football club that I want punished.

Because I haven't read articles, scoured your boards for conclusive information or taken that great an interest in your problems & what goes on behind the scenes at your club, just like you don't really have any idea what goes on behind the scenes at our club.

And why should you? It doesn't matter to you as football fans are mainly insular & care a damn sight more about their own club then anyone elses.

Begging for help?

Who was that?Somebody posted a petition, how many of them have you lot done over the years?
Remember your fans who came to selhurst and colected money for your campaign.Helped and looked after by fans from us who were threatened by some of their own.
Short memories. The truth is the majority of you wanted us gone and the same would have been true if the situation had been reversed.

Just because your chairman has more money than sense to afford to pay off someone elses debt makes your point invalid.

The St Johns Ambulance service was mentioned earlier in this thread. Palace fans chipped in & paid that debt in full. Not bad for a bunch of pikeys.

And fans like me as well, once again your fans were on here begging, try and remember that.

Thats the worst thing about it, by punishing the club, it hurts the fans the most.

Croydon resident? Nah, I'm a five minute walk around the corner from Mr hans kraay fan club. I've probably even seen him working at a checkout in our local asda :lolol:

f***'s sake. I'll admit I was in the "Sadly for the sake of football it will be better if Palace go bust" camp, however I'm not made of stone and I'll admit to feeling a sliver of relief when I heard that, as expected, a deal had been reached. However reading all the SHIT that the Palace fans have posted on here today that feeling has evaporated. Yesterday was not a good day for football and was, once again, a victory for crooks, shysters and speculators. Once again a big club has survived whereas a smaller one would have paid the correct penalty. Any Palace fans disagree? Then f*** off back to your own board where you'll be in the company of people who don't give a shit about us and a fair few who wanted us to go bust. If you want to stay on here then treat us with respect (especially those who were addle-brained enough to sign your stupid, pointless petition), don't insult our intelligence and don't EVER compare how we dealt with our problems to the way that you dealt with yours.

Not to mention the 40 notes fund or all the people who donated £250 when uncle Dick sent the begging bowl out.

Thats the worst thing about it, by punishing the club, it hurts the fans the most.

Which is why, I'd imagine, a lot of fans are in favour of harsh punishments for defaulting clubs until it's their own in the spotlight :lolol:

The problem is that at the moment, the fans are feeling very little pain (the ten point deduction) but many many local businesses are getting screwed out of large amounts of cash by football clubs entering administration. I'd like to think that I'd feel exactly the same (that administration punishments should be much harsher) even if it was us in that situation, but I can't honestly say for definite.

Given the seeming lack of willingness of the football authorities to actually tackle this problem, I really do think that it will take a 'big' (i.e. league) club going to the wall for anyone to realise just how bad things have got.
