I used to like this forum and our rivalry. Having read some of the comments on here, I feel all the excitement of our matches against each other, all our support (some of us) for you lot in the bad times. All the Robert Eaton stuff. I wish I hadn't been involved.

Sorry if that's OTT, but it is an emotional day.

Calm down. Much more important things for you to be worried about. Bringing Robert Eaton up is massively OTT.

I’d say the vast majority of fans would be sad to see Palace fold but you have to appreciate there are many Albion fans who like myself had to put up with a lot of shit from your lot when we went the through our troubles. I had two years of listening to comments like ‘shit club no ground’ from Palace fans at school.

Agreed about the RE Memorial to be fair.

But you're talking about a club thousands of people love and a fair few on here are hoping we go bust. I can assure you Brighton will be a very boring club to support without a rival 'cos nobody else takes an interest in you at all.

"At school"? Well, I apologise for any 11 year old Palace fans who bullied you, old chap. I hope you weren't too upset.:D

I've already said how I feel.

I empathise hugely with you, of course I do. However, I am also of the belief that things have got so bad that it needs a club to go under for others to realise they can't keep spending outside of their means.

Unfortunately - and I am truly sorry for you - it may be Palace.

Most Brighton fans have shown nothing but support across on the threads on this situation. A few have said reasonably why they won't lend their support to the campaign and one or two have been abusive about it.

That's pretty decent support from one of your rivals teams I'd say

Well you have a read through the above then.

Look, ignore the minority on here who are sticking the boot in. I'm sure a good proportion are only doing it to get a rise from you anyway (which they've evidently succeeded in). Also, I think it'd be a good move if you appologised for your anti-REMF comment. It's very understandable that you should be wound-up to breaking point, but to stoop to the depths just ain't right. I'm sure the majority of NSC is on your club's side concerning it's future survival - so be the bigger person & withdraw your earlier comments please. You KNOW it makes sense.

LOL I was in year 10 so I was about 15.

My point was that many Palace fans we’re pretty happy when we were on our knees so you shouldn’t be surprised if a minority of Brighton fans have a little chuckle at your expense.

Personally I hope you survive and I’m pretty sure most Albion fans would agree with me.

This.

If I could be arsed I would drag up al the old threads where planning applications were delayed and proposals turned down for our new stadium.

But I can't.

I apologise for mentioning the memorial fund. Please note (read it again) it wasn't an anti-REMF comment. How do you read it like that?

Don't go on about it.

Love ya.

I'd like to withdraw my comment to the OP.
A terrible thing to say to anyone and I apologise.
I'm better than that!
Tempers and emotions running high and all that....

Right you lot, that's quite enough simpering apologies now. Jeeeeeez...
