The team aren't in Malaga. They were on a covert operation in Pakistan. They sat back and waited patiently. Gprdon Greer led the operation, but gpt himself court marshalled for thumping a member of the special forces. El-Abd flung himself to the floor, like a dying swan, at the sound of gunfire. Ashley Barnes had the first shot, but missed. Chris Wood hit the window frame, Casper Ankergren spent five minutes wasting time checking his equipment and it was left to Glenn Murray to shopt the bastard down - he is now negotiating a promotion to the SAS. Gus spoke to Al Jazeera and mentioned that it was a complicated operation. Is there anything this team can't do?

Bet they wish Ashley 'sniper rifle' Cole was on board.

Strange wording by the Americans, there was a firefight AND THEN he was killed, perhaps there is evidence he left the compound alive ?
That's exactly right. I probably shouldn't say this, but he's sitting with me at the moment, having a cup of tea. Now we've managed to fake his death we're discussing his future, looking through holiday brochures trying to choose a retirement destination.

Now that's more believable, but still questionable ???

God bless America! And proof that in some places they DO take the Bins out on a Bank Holiday!

On a more serious note how are the Pakistan govt going to explain that he was living in a villa in their back yard rather than the quaint populist theory that he was holed up in a cave with some tribesmen?

Drive by abusing
Bet its done wonders for Obama's approval rating, If he'd waited a couple more years he'd have guaranteed himself another term in the White House.
Also it makes Donald Trump look like an even bigger douchebag, While he's been going on at him about showing everyone his birth certificate he's been planning the assasination of America's most wanted criminal!

Say Obama was taken out a week earlier. Do you think William would have been driving thru London in an open top Aston Martin? I think not.

Obama was taken out?! Jesus Christ, someone better inform the White House.

Obama, Osama, :lolol: I'll let you off. :jester:

The amount of posts I see on (British) forums when discussing Al Qaeda of "they attacked us first" makes me laugh. Did we become the 51st state officially?

Hmmm I think they attacked a lot of civilised countries 1st when they hit the twin towers
Can't remember the exact figure but I know there were a fair few Brits killed when they came down

The seaside.
He was responsible for some nasty acts of terrorism on US targets overseas, but even the FBI admit Bin Laden had nothing whatsoever to do with 9/11. Americans hate faceless enemies - you can't fight someone if you don't know who they are - hence the need to 'blame' someone for 9/11. I'm sure the world's a little bit of a better place without Bin Laden, but it really doesn't change much at all.

It changes nothing.... Basicly a trophy kill but it's no more than he deserved.
Wasn't aware he had nothing to do with 9-11.... Might have a little mooch online about that later
