War of the worlds

Worst film I have ever seen has to be: Pret a Porter (Richard E Grant starring in a film about the fashion industry). Wifes choice at the Cinema..she has never chosen again.

Felicia's Journey, it was sort of a serial killer flick starring Bob Hoskins. Truly nauseating and pointless.

I thought Jaws was shit.

Worst films I've accidentally paid good money to see in the last few years:

Lord of the Rings 1 & 3 (2 was just about OK)
The South Park Movie.

You gotta be kidding. Ok so three ROTK was half an hour too long but still a great movie.
South Park Bigger Longer Uncut is one of the funniest films ever.

UltraViolet - Milla Jovovich. Low-budget dirge. Looks like a 1980's computer game.
Alone in the Dark - Christian Slater. So bad its actually laughable

It's a question of expectation vs delivery.

When half the people you meet tell you the film you're about to see is the best film ever made, I'm not daft enough to believe them, but I do expect it to at least be very good. It wasn't. It was just a bunch of f**king hobbits walking around in circles for hours on end. They needed a decent editor to take an hour off the first film and an hour and a half off the second.

With South Park: I loved Series 1 and so expected more. But it was just half an idea stretched way beyond breaking point. More anal probes and starvin' Marvins, and less swearing-just-in-order-to-test-the-film-censor, would have improved matters.

Oh yes. Would probably be even worse if it wasn't so incomprehensible.
UltraViolet was so bad, it made Aeon Flux look like a masterpiece.
What a dismal evening I had with that.

'Lust on the Rug' was awful and 'Leg Over Leslie meets Wide Open Wendy' wasn't much better. The worst of all has to be 'Intimate Confessions of a Teenage Muff Diver'.

No !no !no !

Teenage Muff Diver is widely recognised as one of the iconic works of the Neasden noveau vague art house movement. A seminal piece of cinema.
