Just returned here, this is the first page I clicked, and it was slow loading.

Slow again. Message bottom left thart seems to be a major sticking point seems to be 'read pagead2.googlesyndication.com'. Using Firefox.

I appreciate it must be very annoying - if you're getting slowness, can you please describe in the best detail possible what you are seeing on here, including browser flavour and version etc.

Assuming no improvement, I'll turn it off again early lunchtime to allow people to have a wasteful Friday afternoon.

Last night approx 10.30-11.00 ish NSC would not open at all, all other websites were fine, using Chrome at home. But Tapatalk was working OK on my iPhone.
This morning comes up with the scripting message and is slow loading but it does load, use IE8 at work.

"A script on this page is causing your web browser to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer might become unresponsive" appears at every action.

IE8.

Same as the other day so far. With IE8, scripting errors and slowness - you can't even minimise the browser when it's "thinking". With FireFox 10.0.2 it seems slow too. Will stick with Firefox for the morning and see what I get.

This.

It's coincided with me getting the ads come up again. I have to say, the ads aren't very 'work' friendly. It's quite easy to scroll over them accidentally.

Firefox 11.0

Touch wood, so far, I only seem to be getting an issue when on the main board page. The threads seem to be loading fine. When I go to the main board it becomes unresponsive. I get the loading cycle on the tab for a longer time than usual, and often that top bar shows firefox as not responding for a second or two, then the page finishes loading.

I had these same scripting errors on another site a while ago, but am NOT getting them on NSC. All is well, which considering my connection is bloody slow, is a bit of an achievement. Seeing blue links also. IE8. (that ain't going to help you much, but it shows that it is not necessarily an older IE version problem).

Is this just me - for the last day or so running NSC I keep getting a scripting error

"A script on this page is causing your web browser to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer might become unresponsive"

Only happens on NSC - I use many other pages ok. Using ie 8 (no choice on that, it's a work PC).

Yep me too , thought it was the lap top as it`s getting more frequent
