NSC scripting errors

I've not noticed any difference yet (on firefox).
IE 8 still loading very slow and unresponsive,
Green links are appearing now for me for the first time.
Installed adblock plus and it looks like no more delays. Not really the workaround Bozza was looking for I don't think.

Still got scripting errors on IE8, slow to load on both IE8 and Firefox. No obvious change.
I know I've joked about this before, but one of the changes I am going to make over the Summer will be to block NSC from people who block ads on NSC. The site costs a lot to run and it has to be paid for somehow. Those who block ads contribute nothing to the upkeep of the site, so I'm happy to give them no content.
There is an obvious balance to be struck however and I will never place adverts that are overly intrusive nor those that affect site performance unduly. This new placement was offered for a year but I struck a deal to do a trial for a month prior to making any decision. If the ads are too intrusive or do affect the performance of the site then they won't be here for long.
Advertising pays my salary, so I am not advocating this. You asked for feedback and I thought this may be more useful than NSC is slow.

Agreed - no scripting errors any more, and seems to be loading faster - IE8 & Firefox. Not as fast as it used to be, but back to where it has been this week, I would say.

The ad dudes reckon there shouldn't be an issue now, so it's back on across the board. Please report any slowness or issues here.

Also had page issues earlier today & on other occasions although fine at the moment. All the words appear in large plain text, mainly down the left hand of the page. I'm not an IT techienerd of any kind whatsoever, so if it sounds a pile of bullshit in the way I've described it, I'm just telling it as I've seen it. Only happens on NSC.
