Just to play Devil's Advocate like, what's everyone else's thinking on inflation then?

Everyone's complaining that inflation is running at 5%, but if it was at 2% we'd be perfectly happy.

Why should anyone be happy that the price of everything - EVERYTHING - was increasing every single year by 2%? Shouldn't a price be a price, a value be a value? If it wasn't for that pesky interest...

(Actually, what are your opinions, as opposed to slating Nibble for 10 seconds)

I think you need to use that third eye of your own to do a little learning. Lets start with Economics and then sentence construction.

This has been grand, passed the time whilst I do my christmas shopping on 't interweb superbly. But now I'm done I must away to prepare the evenings feast. Cheerio...

You don't learn through your third eye as much as realise what you already knew.

As long as average wages increase by a rate greater than inflation (at reasonable, not Mugabe levels) then it is not a problem. It also encourages people into work which helps economic development. Inflation is not due to interest rates being high as Nubble argues, quite the opposite.
