I reckon the Nibble is trying to become the number one NSC attention seeker, can't see any other reason for him posting such drivel.

It is not attention seeking and even if it were it's plums like you who bite all the time that would provide attention.

Oh dear, you'd better be prepared for some more Nibble like 'wit'.

Nibble, if I'm a plumb you're a stupid plucker.

I think you mean nibble style "wit"

Nibble like wit would infer an objective correlation between a "person" and "a concept". This flirts with the realms of abstraction and is therefore useless in what you intended to say.

The original purpose of a bank, the sole reason why any bank is set up, is exactly the same as any business - to make a profit.

If you were right - if a bank were set up to keep money safe - it would not be allowed to loan out that "safe" money to anybody else.

This is not a tricky concept.

maybe im not being clear. im not talking about the business of banking, im talking about the concept of the bank. what was the first bank created for? what need did it fulfill? ie, if you got rid of profit making banks, what facilities would people still require - safe keeping and and transfer of money.

It allowed taxes to be taken from your money without your input. The banks charged for this system, not charged the government as you might think but charged the customers. Terrific.

What are you going on about now? Does this nonsense actually make sense to you?

right so the first bank customer went along to a bank so that they could be charged. yeah, great logic there. so much cynicism. stop looking at where we ended up and look at what the first principles are. and im still curious to know why anyone should lend money to others for nothing.

It is clear that you and your various cohorts are unwilling or unable to envisage anything but the company line. You and your type are the reason the world is unable to open it's third eye and accept an overwhelming elevation to a world of peace and understanding, void of malice and profiteering. Become unafraid.

I must go, I have a lead on one of the Bilderbergers. I'll update ya soon!

Surley you have to Charge to Cover the amount of Risk, ok it should be better regulated and money should only be lent to those who truely can afford to borrow and pay back.

Plus if they didnt charge to lend its not really a business, if you dont charge for a service, whats the point in it? as a business. it just doesnt make sense.

In my computer
That, my dear, is as perfect in it's construction as a winter spider's web.

I think you need to use that third eye of your own to do a little learning. Lets start with Economics and then sentence construction.

This has been grand, passed the time whilst I do my christmas shopping on 't interweb superbly. But now I'm done I must away to prepare the evenings feast. Cheerio...
