Still can't see TB pulling the trigger 6 months into a 3/4 yr deal.

Think he gives him next year with funds this summer, which will be a bad idea imo.
You wouldn't anyway, because any appointment would not be a preferred choice. And with this not being a relegation season, there would be no urgency. Any new manager would need to be capable of leading the team to challenge for Europe.

Albion are 9th in the table. So it needs a sober assessment.

Absolute nonsense. We don't play decent possession football any more and that's on him. The players are not being developed, and that's on him. Bloom wants us in Europe, without a doubt. They've made a mistake. With hindsight, the combination of raw young talent with a raw young manager is proving disastrous. Even a pretty average PL boss would do just as well with this squad, there's a lot of talent. What's lacking is a leader that commands respect.
62.5% possession today but agree on the decent element!

Embarrassing

Unacceptable.
I think everyone is thinking this right now. Poor poor performance today. Other than a couple of decent chances 1st half we deserved the spanking. Crap defending, no midfield fight no cohesion etc etc. when Notts forest attack it's quick and efficient. Our attack by comparison is snail paced. Back to the drawing board for FH I think.

That wrestling goes on in every game and nearly always goes unpunished so good for the ref. It was a clear penalty.
Do we need to be the catalyst in everybody getting penalties for grabbing and pulling? Rather it went to another team but hey, if we are going to start it, let's see what happens in the next few...

I liked how we set up today. Problem for me was not pressing high enough or dropping deep enough.

Strikes of a manger with no confidence.

I'd sack him, but not because he's not capable, but because it hasn't worked out and doubt he'll and the players will recover.

I was all for FH in the summer. Transfers started quick and with £200M spent I was really excited for the season ahead. Pre-season was really good.

It all started off so well but since November it has all started to slide, with draws and the occasional win masking the underlying problems.

How are so many players getting injured in training?
Why can't we play set pieces properly.
Why does the team keep rotating so much?

I don't think we are in any danger of going down this season but I think TB should change the manager.

So gutted after the early season optimism. It is quite telling that FH didn't get up from his seat after the second goal. Perhaps he thinks he is done?

This is not a dig at Lamptey, especially as JPVH and Veltman were far far worse in defence than him today!, but how did he escape a booking?

1. Dive - freekick given but no card.

2. Deliberate handball - freekick given but no card.

3. Wrestling a player to the ground without even looking at the ball - penalty given but no card.

Bizarre!

On that 3rd point. Why the refereeing inconsistency? Bruno used to bear hug players every week at corners and always get away with it. Every corner nowadays is a wrestling match in the box, and some are given, some not.

Finally calm.
Thought this sort of score would happen very soon, probably against Chelsea.
It’s been coming. Injuries and a rookie manager learning on the job is a recipe for that.
Oh well.
