I liked how we set up today. Problem for me was not pressing high enough or dropping deep enough.

Strikes of a manger with no confidence.

I'd sack him, but not because he's not capable, but because it hasn't worked out and doubt he'll and the players will recover.
They would not sack a manager with the team 9th in the table and in no danger. For a number of reasons:

1) Any appointment would need to be long term. The squad does not need an interim manager.

2) It sends a message to potential suitors that the club has ideas above it's station and is prone to knee jerk decision making

3) It is unlikely that prime options are available

4) The club would lose a lot of credibility.

Tippy tippy possession football isn’t working - too many opponents behind the ball. Let’s have a go at using our wingers and hitting teams quicker when they haven’t got so many back. Is this Plan B? Not rocket science.
Then we should switch our wingers, as currently they both prefer to cut inside.

I agree. Our flair players are being totally stifled with the current tactics. The painfully slow approach stops them from being effective. Mitoma is half the player he was when long raking balls were aimed in front of him.

On the train home, mobile signal has been awful all day and train wifi patchy, not been able to read much yet, just pulled into Leicester and at least we are not in their position (found a positive), I guess some people might not be too happy
