Back home after a cold afternoon at Carrow Road.

Wobbly first half but good subs early. Enciso staying on after a poorish first half paybacked with a goal. Georginio was excellent as was Minteh whose pace caused endless problems for Norwich. Unfortunately a knee injury at the end of the first half ( hopefully not too serious), had him walking off early in the second half to give way to Solly.

Brilliant atmosphere, really special when Solly scored and some great back and forth between us and Canary fans - apart from the frickin’ drum, credit to them for making lots of noise and staying until the end.

I was impressed with McConville - a strapping, tall lad and looked very comfortable in our central defence.

Minteh and Rutter are going to be top players for us by the end year of the season I reckon.

From your post WW2 graph, they've been top 2 divisions for the last 50 years. Way better than us. But current standing has more weight than decades ago. So not sure there's a lot in it.

I suspect this random third round tie might live a little longer in my memory than most.

It’s thanks to my dad that my love for this club blossomed, and he a lifelong Blade too.
