Agree, not sure it would have stood with VAR as Welbecks run towards the ball is interference even if he didn’t touch it.

But f*** it delighted for Solly.

No I didn't think Danny made it offside, he pulled out and didn't affect it IMO. I thought Solly himself was offside.

Strong display in the end, away against a lower division, but decent, opposition with a good home record.

They looked good for the first 20 minutes or so, but a couple of defensive errors saw us lead after an even first half, and they ran out of steam after that.

Second half, we showed our quality and we looked a class above. It could have been 6 or 7, as we had plenty of good chances and they had none.

Delighted for March - great finish which is typical of him. Welbeck shows again during his brief appearance why we miss him - so intelligent, he creates so much more time for us when attacking.

Stunning finish by Enciso, in an otherwise poor performance - he needs to work on his decision-making in order to be a top player.

Great goals from Georginio, becoming one of our best players. Minteh looked dangerous, but still very raw - such a powerful player though, he will become absolute quality soon enough.

Think we can be chuffed to go through to the next round having won convincingly away against decent enough opposition - could have easily been a banana skin. Hopefully we can take this confidence on to the Premier League and bag some wins there too.

I know the opposition is a division lower, but a good win that. Solid performance, controlled the game, gave them very little, and some nice goals. Banana skin avoided. & Solly scores!
Great performance for the "shitty little club" (courtesy of the Pinkun)
