To be fair, with Farage in charge of Reform and the Tory vote split we’ll be getting 10/15 years of Sir Keir followed by Burnham or Streeting.

By that time I’ll be retired and the kids will have been through Uni so all good 👍
The one thing I've learnt from Brexit is never be complacent again. We have tough times ahead, the Tories have burnt this country to ground and for Labour this isn't 1997. Its more like the 1930's, no quick fixes.

Like Trump, Farage is an evil genius, we will need to be prepared to fight fire with fire in the years ahead. I know people in my own family that are falling for the Farage shtick AGAIN and all this despite Brexit remorse, people get groomed surprisingly easy.

I hope we've had peak populism with Johnson, but it may not be the case.

Good post. Very thought provoking.

If 52% of the referendum electorate, by voting Brexit, were fooled by the Brexit bus, there is no guarantee that a majority of the electorate won't be fooled by Farage.

I suspect he is going to find out that having one policy makes it quite difficult to be an mp.

“what are your views on education and how could it be improved”
“Too many immigrants in our schools”
“Pupil numbers are currently decreasing as the number of children declines”
“Erm…zero immigration means we can have better education”

“What will you do to sort out the polluted water courses?”
“I will ban immigrants from dumping sewage”

It just doesn’t work does it.

But if it comes with a promise to build a 30ft high 400 mile border wall along the South Coast … and make any foreigner that gets through “illegally” to fund improvements to the NHS 🙂

Too subtle. Paint the wall red, with windows and wheels on it.

Then paint the lyrics to the Brexit song, to the tune of 'The wheels on the bus'.

'The Brexiteers on the bus go 'f*** off home', 'f*** off home', 'f*** off home'.

And that went absolutely brilliantly. Dear Nige, can we have more of the same please :dunce:

Although I have learnt one thing over the last few years. If ordinary people are absolutely determined to keep punching themselves in the face (whatever the reason), there really is very little that can be said or done to stop them
The fact remains brexit happened
Tell me why you are as angry with Starmer as you are with Sunk.

Is it because neither will scrap nuclear weapons?

Go on, share.
😂random . Just saying people are fed up and angry and it just my opinion like brexit people will vote for them that’s it no hidden agenda sorry to disappoint 😂👍

Sound advice.

There is evidence that 10 minutes of stroking a cat lowers your blood pressure and stress levels. Cat owners are less likely to suffer from cardiovascular diseases.

I wonder if Farage has got a cat?
I might get a minute of pleasant stroking of my cat Kenny before he turns on me and sinks his fangs into my hand/arm.

It did indeed, and continues to happen on a daily basis. Both yourself and Nige are winners

Although I do wonder which of you 'won' more, Nige with his millions or you with your sovrinty :lolol:

Of course its easy to forget the governing party can win power with a lot less than 52%. 35% Blair 2005, 36% Cameron 2015

Think we've got a tough decade ahead of us, aging population, NHS on its knees, huge public debt servicing costs, pressure to spend more on defence, 5% hit GDP (thanks Nige) etc...

When things get bad you looks for immigrant groups to blame, for Farage it really is Brexit 2.0. Find a grievance and exploit it.
