When we're at the 12th race and Button is 40 points ahead, it WILL be dull.

i think its hard to argue that it will be dull, but i dont think people will be bored of it. far from it - most people dont support just one driver, they support their fellow countrymen, and seeing as button is british, he could win every race from now until the end of the season, and the british public would still not consider it shit due to the fact it is a british driver and a british team who is leading the field

it would be exactly the same if it was hamilton in the brawn this season raping everyone

Scott, over time, you're a RAIKKONEN fan. And I respect you for that. You like his STYLE and that's what it's all about.

In fact, had I never spotted the remarkable resemblance between you and Jenson I'm not sure we'd ever have discussed him!!

ive always liked jenson due to his playboy lifestyle and the fact that, a bit like kimi, he clearly had talent but he appeared to be more interested in beautiful women, money and alcohol. however, i will admit that when you pointed out the similarities between myself and jenson, it did kick my interest in him up a notch, which put me well and truly on the 'bandwagon' a good year before he won the second race of his career

I don't disagree with that. Ok, a question. It's the last race of the season, Jenson and Kimi are tied on the same points. They both qualify on the front row alongside each other. Who would you support?

probably jenson - however much i like ferrari and kimi, they have both been there and done it before. kimi should have won a lot more world titles than his one, but that is down to his own flairness in not really giving a toss and nobody else. button has been stuck in a wank car for all of his career bar now, and is finally getting the chance to show what he can do. he deserves it more than kimi, simply for not having been given the opportunity on the plate in the past, so i would go for jenson

To have two different British drivers win the Championship in consecutive seasons would be amazing, even more miraculous when you consider that Brawn didn't even have a car a month before the season started...it is the sort of story that films are made about!

The thing about this race is that it's a gorgeous track and it's a great spectacle, but when the drivers can't over take each other... I just don't think it's that great as a race. But it should be good to watch, I'm hoping for a couple of crashes like yesterday!

How was that spam? I think that's incredibly relevant actually, it tells you all you need to know about how the McLaren is this year, and how much Lewis is actually struggling. The Brawn cars are just fantastic, the engineering that's gone into them is just brilliant when you consider how little time they've had to work on it.

Very competitive race, it's good stuff at the moment.

It wasn't a hating comment, he was just saying that he was going to be lapped, let's not all be as aggresive and nasty with each other. Leave that to other people.

Button vs Massa is developing into a quality race now, I reckon Rosberg will make up the top 3 with them in the end.

See earlier in the thread if you don't believe he hates LH.
