If he hates LH, fine... that's up to him. I'm ever so slightly extremely jealous of the man, so maybe I was a little bit happy to see him being lapped by Button.

Rosberg is off the pace at the moment, but I think he'll come stronger again toward the end of the race. It's looking more like the other Ferrari or Brawn will finish 3rd at the moment. I'm still backing Rosberg though!

The Brawn cars are just fantastic, the engineering that's gone into them is just brilliant when you consider how little time they've had to work on it.

QUOTE]

Huh? Honda gave up after about 3 races last season and started on this year's car then. They have actually had more time than anyone else and once Honda quit Brawn had the bonus of get getting the best engine in F1 - Mercedes.

Hamilton's pace once he fitted a new nose cone after his 2nd stop was up there with the Brawns. Well done Jenson and Hamilton overstretched himself as his car was not much behind the Brawns, he just f***ed up twice this weekend. Once in qualifying, once during the race when he bent his nosecone.

Jenson drove better than Lewis this weekend, make no mistake about that. Hamilton showed he's not quite in the Alonso, Schumacher, Senna class yet..he's too hot headed and makes too many mistakes. Jenson was faultless.

Alonso showed what can be done in a car well off the pace of Brawn, Red Bull, Ferrari AND McClaren. Lewis should take note and calm the f*** down if he wants to be a true great.

spot on - there is no doubt he is in the best car, but for an 'average' driver, jenson has made a shockingly low amount of mistakes this season. he may have the best car, but he still has to drive it to victory - something he has done impecably well

Coulthard must be kicking himself that he retired too soon. Seems that suddenly Jensen Button is the greatest racer in the history of the world. Or probably not tho eh?

He's average compared to Lewis, Fernando and a couple of others, .

I think he's proving you wrong, he hasn't made a mistake this season. Hamilton should have walked last year but was making mistakes every other race and nearly blew it. Jenson is just as good as Lewis...who could yet get better if he wasn't so inconsistent. Alonso is the best driver in Formula One at the moment.

Quite where you get this idea that Hamilton is so good when he makes so many mistakes is a mystery to me. He's f***ing exciting I grant you and I love his ballsy racing but...

He's average compared to Lewis, Fernando and a couple of others, but he is comfortably better than anyone else who has a car that can potentially win.

i thought the mclaren looked quite handy today - kovalainen did well by his normal appalling standards until his traditional cock up, and had hamilton not made his costly mistake in qualifying at a circuit in which those sort of cock ups get punished far greater than anywhere else due to the overtaking issues, then maybe he could have done something in the race - they looked quick in practice after all

hamilton made two mistakes this weekend, jenson was flawless

For me and others this season has become a complete bore.

Quote from Bernie Ecclestone at today's race in a interview

: the idea was to make it less predictable but now it has become more PREDICTABLE".
Which is what they were trying to cut out

Hamilton is human, and he made a couple of mistakes. That is life, he's struggling a bit and it's a shame but the truth is that's professional sport, these things happen.

The quote from Bernie Ecclestone was quite amazing, he wouldn't care a JOT if his Ferrari's were running away with it at the top, he wouldn't care if his car was just that much better... this is sport! You have the good cars and you have those which aren't as good and those which have work to do, it's part of the sport! He's just moaning because he's not winning. He does have a point, but that's sport.
