Be good if people can get the proper old fashioned blue & white striped scarves too. They sell a version in the club shop I'm sure.
They do indeed.

This is the planned game for the Childish Ramblings meet up as well I believe :)

You are correct, assuming it's still going ahead (I've not been told that it isn't).

Can someone have a word and ask the club to tell the stewards to lay-off for that game. We want our atmosphere back and they're very good at killing whatever little atmosphere there is with their petty rule enforcement. Nobody died standing up at a football game for a few minutes at a time........people used to do it for 90+minutes in the 80's you know......... :p

But the stewards are employed by the club aren't they ? So they are following club instructions ( which are probably league instructions ) and these are unlikely to change for any match.

At the last couple of home games, some old duffer complained about people standing up in H block spoiling his view. This is why the stewards are required to demand that people sit down, as well as the stadium rules ( of course this could be crap and I could be spreading malicious falsehoods, you never know)

its a good idea, but we need people in the spare seats first, otherwise it would look crap.

and i like CK's idea above :)

After reading the Balloon thread further down, maybe we should all bring a load of blue and white balloons along to this game aswell :)

Just beware...the last time I tried to do the balloon thing at a home game we were 2-0 down within 10 minutes. The scarf idea is excellent.....should work better than balloons (balloons create a great show for about 10 seconds, scarves last the whole 90 mins). Not that I'm saying we shouldn't do balloons as well....
