My best friend runs his own haulage company artics and a fleet of vans, about 2 weeks ago he was approached by Pfizer to run “vaccines” out to Milan and Madrid it had to be done non stop in double crewed vans, he’s been doing that everyday since, yesterday he was asked to extend his contract to do Czech Republic, France, Belgian and Switzerland, he was told the were massively ramping up production and were now even chartering planes full of these vaccines. 10,000’s of this stuff is going out in security sealed boxes
They are date critical hence the time restraints, another company are distributing the uk stuff.
It’s also fairly common knowledge in Horsham that Pfizer are making this stuff yet absolutely nothing in the press, not a whisper, just that a vaccine is 18 months away if at all.

Now I guess it could still be testing, but when he started it was just a few boxes each load but now it’s artic and plane loads, does that mean more wide spread testing, that would seem a massive ramp up !

And I suppose there could be a media embargo on it, to stop any hysteria ?
Interesting none the less and I just feel we’re not being told the whole truth about this whole crisis.

Bloody Worthing!
Matt Hancock is a disgrace. Clap the NHS then tell them they are to blame for PPE shortages. Urgh.

I'm beginning to wonder if he doesn't deliver the 100,00 tests a day and/or the PPE situation doesn't improve, whether Johnson might throw him under the bus (presumably the one he used during the Brexit campaign). After MH did stand against him in the leadership contest - and Johnson is a ruthless operator.

We're gonna need a bigger bus.

If that was knowledge I possessed, I wouldn’t be telling mates, certainly not ones that would go on social media and tell everyone about it .

Girlfriends nan went into hospital day before lockdown with a huge tumour on her bowel, hasnt seen anyone for weeks, found out today she's now got the virus and is on oxygen. If they're lucky 1 family member will be able to see her before she dies. Terrible way to go

Highly unlikely to be a vaccine, and far more likely to be existing drugs which are looking to be repurposed for Covid-19, eg...

Data from preclinical studies of a compound that was originally developed to treat SARS - a different coronavirus that caused a major epidemic in 2003 - shows its potential to treat patients with the new coronavirus, Pfizer research chief Mikael Dolsten told Reuters in an interview.

Pfizer said it will conduct additional preclinical studies of the drug and aims to begin trials in humans in the third quarter of 2020.

In addition, Pfizer said it plans to support studies to determine whether existing Pfizer medicines, including its rheumatoid arthritis drug Xeljanz, may provide benefits for those struggling with the COVID-19 respiratory illness caused by the coronavirus

Pfizer will also publish a review of research into whether its antibiotic azithromycin, sold under the brand name Zithromax, can play a role in treating COVID-19.

Azithromycin has been used with the malaria drug hydroxychloroquine by some doctors after a French study suggested the combination might benefit some COVID-19 patients..

There are hundreds, if not thousands, of pre-existing clinical trials going on around Europe for all manner of investigational products. The volume of drugs you are talking about is consistent with later phase trials which any Covid 19 vaccine will not have reached yet. It’s also the tail end of the flu season so they might be regular flu vaccines. Could also be off-label stuff like Bozza has suggested.

Yeah I thought exactly the same as you, however, through my very limited and brief googling I can’t find anything that says these any of these drugs are time critical, I may well be wrong, but I do know the stuff he’s been delivering has to be delivered and used within a very short space of time, he was even given a police escort through Milan the first night so he knew where to go and the shortest route through the city ?
He’s even had to sign a declaration that none of his vans will stop other than to refuel....hence the doubles manning!
I’m going out with him as co driver next week, I’ll see if I can find out a bit more, maybe I’m reading too much into it, and perhaps hoping for a “quick fix” a bit too much, but it’s certainly intriguing!

Definitely not seasonal flu stuff, they don’t give police escorts for tamiflu, I think more likely trials that have been sped up considerably given the circumstances, we know three weeks ago they were already injecting people with potential vaccines, and given they already have a lot of info from SARS, I guess it’s not beyond the realms of possibility that advanced trials have commenced.

Fair point, and noted, but other than the drug company making the stuff (which is fairly common knowledge in Horsham where it’s being made) no names have been mentioned.
It just sounded to far fetched to be true, but he’s just not the type to make stuff up, I trust him implicitly, but I do get your point, if the mods feel the need they can by all means delete my posts.
