SE9, obviously
Fri 1 Nov - 120.3kg
Sun 10 Nov - 119.9kg
A gain on yesterday but considering the context (Roast Dinner celebrating the temporary return of a full house and the rather pleasing news from the Amex) I did well to keep just under 4000 calories. Today's already entailed a 200 mile round trip to deposit one of mine back to Oxford, then I have a memorial service for a friend's husband who was taken way too soon, topped off with multiple crossed fingers and Pringles praying the football gods will give us demolitions of Forest, Tottenham and a 1-0 for either of the entitled London lot to keep us top 4). So not expecting much positive movement on the scales.

Day 10: 16st 0.8lb
-3.2lb

Shocking day yesterday I'm forgiving myself and back on it today. Won't get a lot of exercise because I'll be watching reruns of the City game.
Ha ha...! My day will be;...

Re-runs of the City game. Hospital appt. Minutes silence. Re-run of the City game...re-run of the City game, re-run of the City Game. Pack the car ready for the Midnight ferry from Newhaven. Monday afternoon;...arrive home and......re-run of the City game...There is no time for food (maybe a few glasses of wine ..)

Picked up some new scales yesterday so hopefully more accurate weight today is 11st 13lbs - we shall see whether it keeps fluctuating!

Expecting to put on more weight after this weekend, as I was in a box above the North Stand at the game yesterday having won a competition and it included alcohol and catering, and we've got friends for lunch today. Will aim to be good again tomorrow...

I like this thread. I was doing a 5 week diet anyway. started last Monday the 4th.

I do the bodybuilding thing so go through periods of putting on weight (hopefully more muscle than fat) then losing weight (hopefully more fat than muscle) My goal was to get to my leanest before Xmas / summer (here in NZ). I'm already pretty lean, guessing around 16% body fat so can see abs a bit. Goal was to get to 82kg. I started at 86.5kg so it's gonna be tough.

I'm pretty strict as I said before so measure everything and I go by macros so my daily is 175g protein 50g fat 190g carbs, divided into 4 meals .
Pretty hard weight training 4 times a week
Averaged 11.5k steps
Didn't cheat once bar a few chips off daughters' plate and couple little squares of chocolate stolen from the wife.

End of week 1 results -1kg

bit disappointed to be fair as would have expected bit more on the scales although I can see I've lost more if that makes sense. expecting / hoping for a big drop on the scale which can happen overnight sometimes when your body dumps the water its holding on to.

Good luck to everyone

12st 4lbs. Weigh and record every Monday morning and records show peaked at 13st 10lbs in 2019. Reckon I was 14st+ around 2017 before keeping records. Game changers: overnight porridge for breakfast, lunch/dinners comprising food your gran would recognise in green grocers, butchers, fishmongers, keep dinners/teas to small portions and plenty of exercise (building muscle mass v important). Allow treats but quality rather than quantity. This thread has motivated me to aim for and maintain weight in the 11 stone bracket.
12st 2lbs. Reasonably disciplined all week. Mini blow out on Friday. Alcohol really does lower the guard.

Ok, on our way back from our place in Menorca today. Not sure of the accuracy of the scales there, but.
Friday was 85.8kg 13st 7
This morning 84.9kg, 13st 5

Back on the real scales tomorrow will see if those numbers are realistic then.

13st 2 on my scales this morning, so I'm claiming the 2lbs above plus just 1 for yesterday.

I'm claiming 3lbs loss, but I'll aim for 8.

13st 1 this morning

A third of the way through the month and I‘ve gone from 95.1kg down to 93.5kg. Now, after the first week I’d only lost less than half a kilo, so that made me even more determine from Friday. I needed to step up a level. Unfortunately that meant foregoing my usual match day routine of a pint in The Swan and then another pie and pint at The Amex. I still had a pint at The Swan, though.
I’ve decided that on at least 2 days a week I’m going to skip lunch and try and limit myself to about 1000 calories. The other days I will continue with my (now)usual healthy eating routine. Looking at Michael Mosley’s (RIP) dieting advice has definitely had an impact, but not wanting to cough up any dough for the official one I’m making my own one!
My goal is actually more long term than the end of November, I would like to reach my new target of 82kg by next June.
As others have said, this thread/challenge has been a major motivator.
