If he's that good why does he warm the bench every week?

I heard Turner as good as say he thought Owusu wasn't up for it. He's as good as throwing him out, or would if it wasn't for the contract he's on.

Is this just frustration at not being able to deliver for the Yorkie fans, or is he really just shite?

Can we afford to take that chance?

Sorry Tadley, but your comment about LO not being very able because he sits on the bench most weeks does not mean he is not a good player.

There are various reasons for why a striker doesn't make the first team..........I seem to remember a young lad by the name of Robert Zamora who wasn't even good enough for the Bristol Rovers' first team, he wasn't too bad was he?!!

Turner couldn't spot talent if it was served up to him on a plate.

He called Leon Knight a 'failed footballer' last season and only played him 3 times, leaving him on the bench.

My Sheff Wed contact says he would be on about £5k a week including bonuses. And he used to be physically sick when playing in front of the large crowds at Hillsborough. If he willk sign for 2-2.5k a week then sign him. If not, let the money grabbing so and so fester in their reserves. That's my opinion anyway!

Now you mention it, I remember reading that last season, they thought it was like a kind of stage fright that triggered it off.

I agree. It's a good test if a player will come to a club for less money but regular first-team football and the chance to prove a point.

If the money is a major stumbling block - although I appreciate that there's probably some hard negotiating to do by DK- then he hasn't got a big enough heart to play for us IMHO.

Read somewhere that Sheff Weds fans also said that Leon Knight "shat" himself at playing in front of big crowds and was well suited to the Albion for that reason.

Perhaps Sheff Weds fans are just clutching at straws to cover the fact that they have a useless manager. Anyway it will be interesting to see how Leon and maybe Owusu play when we are watched by a big crowd. Sheff Weds, Bristol City or QPR then.

We must sign him, if only to piss off the big ginger bloke on Coronation Street who is currently beating up Martin Platt while wearing an "Owusu: Raise the roof" t-shirt.
