Who gets to vote on the appeal..? A panel or ALL the Football League clubs..?

Heh heh - LOSERS!!

PS - sorry starry etc if you're reading this, but it is funny!
.
I'm not laughing, another another football club being screwed, although I accept that they should have had a points reduction at the start of next season,

I wish Leeds and their fans all the best.

I hope it's the catalyst for the fans to unite against the current owners.

I think people are being somewhat short-sighted.

There is no way a 15/10 point penalty will send Leeds down this season.

And, even if it did (which it won't), it strikes me as woefully inadequate given the crimes against football perpetrated by Ken Bates et al.

Yes Bozza, but I bet Ken Bates is glad that he isn't running a Chinese football team (only foo king leeds), what he has done would result in summary execution in that country, with no right of appeal...not a poxy 15 point deduction.

Very pleased to see cheats not prospering for once. The cynical way in which they took a 10 point deduction after being relegated thinking they could cheat the system has well and truly back-fired.

Having said that, I still fully expect them to get the 65 points they will need to survive:censored:

I don't see why not. People were saying the same sort of stuff last season, they won't go down, because they're Leeds.

Their owner is dodgy as f*** (and they're almost certainly not out of this mess yet). Their manager is an idiotic dwarf. Their squad is paper thin and mostly crap. And they will be starting the season on minus points. They're hardly an attractive proposition for players.

Every team in our division will raise their game when they play Leeds. In my book they're definitely NOT safe from relegation. The pressure will be stoked on Dennis Wise, and if / when he is sacked what manager worth their salt would want to join a club in that kind of turmoil?

Having said that I wouldn't be surprised to see Micky Adams at the helm come the end of the season.

Even with a 10 point deduction Leeds have still got to deal with the Inland Revenue who won't give up their fight in a hurry.
I think there may still be some twists and turns.

What's this -15 points caper?

I think alot of people haven't factored in the 4 points we always take off them.

So technically they are starting -19 points down.

Maybe the FL have realised this and given them -15, appeal makes it -10, add on obligatory -4 from the Albion and they are back to -14 for the season.

The sooner Ken Bates sods off to the Premiership*, where all annoying irrelevant chair men should, by rights, belong, so we can get on with our proper football, the better.

*But not with Leeds :))

More twists and turns than a twisty turny thing.

This seems like a classic fudge....Leeds able to play in the league, FL avoids massive potential legal wrangle and mess by chucking Leeds out, Bates still in charge, fans reasonably happy because it could have been worse. The interesting bit relates to Revenue & Customs - are they still going after their £7m??

Leeds fans are all blaming Bates and to a degree they are right. However, most of them saw him as their Saviour when he first went there. All that glitters ......
