So if Newcastle come in the top 5, 7th in the league gets conference league? Got it, thanks!Unless Newcastle finish top five that is England's only Conference place sorted.

LiverpoolAll true but I doubt if Newcastle will finish below 7 so that’s the consolation
Not true. If they finish in Europa places they get one of those.Unless Newcastle finish top five that is England's only Conference place sorted.
Goes to 8th if one of the top six win the FA Cup or UCL, 9th if both things happen if I have it rightSo if Newcastle come in the top 5, 7th in the league gets conference league? Got it, thanks!
The problem with that table is that if the FA Cup was won by Villa, Fulham, Palace or Preston then Albion miss out on Europe.Liverpool
Arsenal
Forest
City
Chelsea
Bournemouth
Brighton
Newcastle
A finished table of that doesn’t seem beyond the realms of possibility. Could trade Bournemouth for Villa or Fulham too!
Provided we get enough points we will be ok for EuropeNot true. If they finish in Europa places they get one of those.
Not great with Europe places but if they finish top 8 it won’t matter which they should. Can’t believe so many on here seem oblivious to the fact we wanted a Liverpool win tbh.
No - if they finish in CL or Europa it gets knocked on to 7th or likely 8th - prob will be 8th depending on who wins the FA cup. We are all but assured to finish top 2 in co-efficient table. So if Newcastle come in the top 5, 7th in the league gets conference league? Got it, thanks!
Couldn’t give a flying fig who wins it normally, just want what’s best for our club and that result was definitely not best for us.It’s just nice to see someone that’s not one of the usual suspects actually winning something.
There is still loads that can happen between now and the end of the season that will influence Europe, there’s no point in getting into specifics about who wins a final. We’ll get there under our own steam.
Err yes. That’s exactly my point if you’d read my previous posts. The problem with that table is that if the FA Cup was won by Villa, Fulham, Palace or Preston then Albion miss out on Europe.
ITV is showing the Sky Sports feed. Never seen that before.lol Mark Chapman on Sky just told viewers to switch to ITV![]()

I think 9th is impossible to get Europe. We could get 9 teams in Europe if spurs or Man U win the Europa but don’t think 9th place can win Europe in any way. @Joey Jo Jo Jr. Shabadoo is usually on top of these things. I make it Newcastle finish top 8 now for Europe to go to 8th as it stands. But depends on FA cup winners too.Goes to 8th if one of the top six win the FA Cup or UCL, 9th if both things happen if I have it right
I commented on this earlier - seems weird!
Of course it’s not impossible but hello the Geordies just showed what a good team they are. And as an above post argues, bit pointless obsessing about it when it’s all in our own hands with 2 qualifying routesLiverpool
Arsenal
Forest
City
Chelsea
Bournemouth
Brighton
Newcastle

That explains Chapman’s generosity then - must be some rare kind of commercial link up
Wouldn’t 9th qualify under the following circumstances:I think 9th is impossible to get Europe.
