Seems to me that the death knell of the Labour Party has just been sounded.

Your hearing may be at fault. May I recommend this? ???

Please don’t fall into blinkered party political thinking, your own whataboutery.

The independent EHRC investigation, commissioned by Labour, found antisemitism, antisemitism not investigated and political interference in the handling of complaints.

“Unlawful acts
Our investigation found that the Labour Party breached the Equality Act 2010 by committing unlawful harassment through the acts of its agents in two of the complaints we investigated. These included using antisemitic tropes and suggesting that complaints of antisemitism were fake or smears.

As these people were acting as agents of the Labour Party, the Labour Party was legally responsible for their conduct.”

The smear campaign line you glibly use was the line perpetrated by antisemites in the 2015 to 2019 Labour Party. Starmer, the new Labour leadership, those who spoke out about it at the time and the EHRC have no connection to the Tory Party or Daily Mail, far from it.

Who’s now arguing that the EHRC are liars?

Rest assured, I shan't.

Bollocks.

I support an independent Palestinian state.
I condemn Bibi and predecessors for brutalising Palestinians.
I expect Palestinians to be given a homeland. Just like Israeli jews were given a homeland.
No ifs, no buts.

Good.

David Icke told him that martian lizards the Rothschild’s are part of an Illuminati cabal murdering all homo sapiens.

While you obviously care a great deal about David Icke, I dont. He (and his haircut) is your national treasure, keep him.

The likes of people like you, calling people like me racist, isn't near the wedge, let alone the thin end of it.

But the people who might influence the situation, especially America which has Israel's bollocks in it's claw (and vice versa, some say) will look at people like you and say 'look at that ****. He's digging out a labour party member, one of those transgender commy loosers. And he thinks we should take note of his cry baby bleating? No sir! No indeed, sir! You sir, tiny Swede, you **** off, sir!'.

Totally agree . No one is saying the Palestinians shouldn’t have their own state , all we are saying is that it shouldn’t be at the expense of trying to destroy Israel & killing its civilians . It’s not in Israel’s interests to inflame the situation and attack Palestinian civilian targets , occasionally mistakes are made like all armies but most of their strikes are precision ones against military/ terror targets .

I don’t think Bibi is helping the peace situation but it is patently unfair and very biased to see this as a one sided conflict when it’s countries like Iran who are heavily supporting militant groups like Hamas to continue with its attacks on Israel . The fact Israel has adapted well to dealing with them , so far less suicide attackers killing Israeli civilians doesn’t mean that the militants have given up far from it .

This conflict is both sides , struggling to achieve their objective . The vast majority of Israelis want peace and a two state solution , the majority of Palestinians want a one state solution like Hamas even though they know that’s never going to happen as it would effectively destroy the Jewish state . That pretty much sums up the problem .

He told me the biggest problem in Israel is the orthodox medaevilists, with their ringlets, wigs, black frock coats and unwavering determination to sponge off the state.

I’m curious: did your fellow scientist and ex-Mossad employee describe exactly how Israel’s ‘biggest problem’ was caused by people wearing ringlets, wigs, black frock coats or even their alleged determination to sponge off the state?

I’m no middle-east expert but I would have thought that Israel had bigger problems than how people wear their hair or select which coat to wear.

Up until a year ago a large chunk of the UK'S population would say immigrants and benefit claimants are the biggest problem the country faces, some people like easy targets

This is a proper mess of a thread. A fair bit of sense among a sea of hot tory weasel piss, strained through an old smelly socialist sock, with added essence of verruca. :lolol:

Most of the NSC political threads these days are and the only two people in this myriad of wonderful eccentric world of posters who I absolutely detest( I mean really detest, you know the sort of detest akin to chav neighbours moving in and being an ugly mess) are always balls deep in them.

One of them is you and have a guess who the other is!

Im on the side of Palestine because I am a human being. Im agreeing with United Nations and Humans Rights Watch that the people of Palestine deserve food and fresh water. I agree with these organisations that Israel should not obstruct access to medicines and other type of aid. I agree with these organisations that Israel should not target Palestinian hospitals, schools and other civilian targets.

But its quite obvious that genocide and terror against Palestinians are not seen in the same way as genocide and terror against other people.

You, HWT and a bunch of other people evidently believe Palestinian lives to be less worth than other lives, either trivialising or defending the atrocities committed against the Palestinian people. Why? Because you are racist.

So in general organised government etc is a big Rothschild controlled conspiracy but massive NGOs like the UN and Human Rights Watch are ok when they match your world view?

What about the rights of ordinary Israelis to eat a meal or go for a bus ride without being bombed?

And you've conflated understanding of individual Israeli people for support of their government in your last paragraph.

Apart from that, crack on.

By "balls deep" do you mean posts in the Bear Pit running to three figures or having started numerous identical threads about the Labour Party over the last five years?

Don’t get into the politics of NSC because it’s mostly bollocks. A lot of left wing and some right wing.

But have to commend this wonderful post...... simply brilliant.

Thanks Harry........

All True - people like SWANSMEN are only interested in looking at this very complex situation through the eyes of one side , Swansmen isn’t interested in looking at both sides, yet he has the nerve to call out most unbiased people as racist if they don’t agree with his completely one sided view of the conflict . You can’t reason with people that are so blinkered .

Final point to Swansmen - none of this would have even happened if Syria , Egypt & Jordan had not attacked Israel shortly after it was mandated by the UN & tried to over run it . The Palestinians would still be living mostly in Jordan & Syria would still have the Golan heights .

Israel’s neighbours thought it would be easy to destroy Israel like the Nazis had done to Millions of Jewish people during WW2 , they totally underestimated the strength and will of the Israelis to want to survive and live in their own country .

Much of the Arab world has been licking its wounds ever since . In life , most people wouldn’t have that much sympathy for the aggressors who ended up the losers .

I actually dont care that much about what the UN / HRW says as I can make my conclusions but I figured that perhaps you did, but perhaps not when it comes to the oppression of Arabs.

As for Israeli civilian casualities, its not good, but also not comparable. Sure, a few Belgians were killed in Congo during Belgian rule, and the ANC killed some white South Africans during the apartheid struggle, but neither of those things are sufficient to make a normal human pro-Belgian or pro-Dutch.

If Scotland somehow became a military superpower and decided that all English people would be isolated in... Burnley, without electricity, food, water while they were bombing your schools and hospitals, and you retaliated with homemade rockets, would you have stood on some square preaching for the poor Scots right to go to work? Well, now when I think of it it wouldnt be too unlikely as it fits your personality: someone who really likes people with power crushing people that have very little.

Oh yeah. Only pro-Israelis are completely unbiased etc. I get it. Ive heard it before.

"In life , most people wouldn’t have that much sympathy for the aggressors who ended up the losers."

While it could be debated who were "the aggressors", you are correct that most people dont have sympathy for the losers. I do though.

For that analogy to hold any water at all Burnley would have to be aligned with a terror group based in another bordering country and a close, and fairly edgy nuclear power.

I don't know the name of this 'sect' off hand (some for of orthodoxy?) and was simply describing them by their attire. Clearly it isn't the clothes that my pal objected to. It was their tendency (I paraphrase his words here) to not work and spend all their time praying and producing children. The point I wanted to make is that I didn't find Israeli Jews to be preoccupied with smiting the Arabs, and some seem to consider the state of Israel has other problems. I should add that my pal is also against the march of Jewish settlements into areas traditionally occupied by Arabs; maybe he's unusual.

I would like to see strong pressure to be brought to bear on Israel to set free the Palestinians. That ought to be the number 1 issue on the agenda there, for other friendly nations. Albeit, this will be tricky (I don't need to tell you this), not least because, for some Palestinians, having their own free state appears to be second on their agenda to sweeping the Jews into the sea.
