Ok then, since where have I 'lied' in this thread that you accuse me of ???

He was the best Turkish player in their first-game against Portugal, meaning he was their man of the match.

Please explain.

you are a liar. no one likes a liar. STOP LYING

At least this won't need much changing...

For players like him its all about creating a transient impression then moving on before you get found out. They are the sort of player that scores on their debut then fades as the novelty wears off. Its equally about other professionals whos nose they get up, and who will stop making those critical defence splitting passes to them.

The game is littered with players like this, and managers that think they can change them.

I think there's a bit of a witch-hunt on here when it comes to CKR, because he was a bit shit and couldn't be arsed while playing for us. If he's as much of an idiot as you say he is, surely he wouldn't care whether he was liked or not? Surely he would sit there and pick up his pay packet, and not give two hoots.

I don't believe that he got into the Turkey squad (and onto the pitch) purely on reputation. I know people on here find it hard to believe, but he has actually got better since leaving Brighton. The times I've seen him during this tournament he has looked okay. He hasn't been brilliant, but he certainly hasn't looked out of place. He was right, he was better than playing for Brighton, and playing in the 2nd/3rd tier of English football. I think some people need to learn to accept that.

because they only look as far as the story - Snatched from obscurity by Brighton (eeesss the coca cola kiid (said in mexican accent)) - joined a bigger club - scored one notable goal on MOTD and went to Turkey.

I quote from the match report "Turkey, with former Sheffield United midfield man Colin Kazim-Richards prominent, were always in the game but lacked a crucial cutting edge."

I seem to remember Doug Loft being our man of the match when we lost to Stoke on the last game of the season a couple of years ago.

1) Russ... its a wind-up... ignore barney.

2) It's true he was man of the match according to Turkish TV. TBH he played very well IN THAT GAME

3) At his young age he is holding his own in a club that made the semis of the Champions League. Anyone who can do this is doing well. Anyone who thinks otherwise need to look at themselves in the mirror.

4) CKR would not do as well in the UK as abroad because he is good when he gets time on the ball... he doesnt get that time in the Premier League

5) CKR is an arrogant little sod but that does not take away the fact that he is a pretty good player.

6) No one does him any favours in Turkey as , altho he has a Turkish passport he is still a foriegner who hardly speaks the language.... how would the rest of the English squad feel if tomorrow Zoltan Gera got English nationality and got picked for England over other English players.

7) He is not going to Hull.. end of.

8) Most likely target of english clubs from Turkish team = Arda

if theres any liklyhood of him coming back to the premiership (why would he give up chamions league football?) it wouldnt be to Hull, end of. they are the same as Sheffield United and he would see that as a backward step. however i wouldnt be surprised if he does turn up at Portsmouth, Harry likes to take a risk and he might actually be able to handle his ego. i dont think anyone else would be interested in the challange/hassle of getting him to play well.

if you mean putting your foot on top of the ball is playing very well then fair enough but as someone has already said, why hasn't he started since?

Hull are planning a £2m swoop for Fenerbahce striker Colin Kazim-Richards. (Various)

Surely he can do better than that after his performances in the EURO's ???

Oh yeah, Liverpool should be beating down his door. Get a grip - he started one game and played OK, in the others he was an ineffectual substitute. I know he's done well to get where he is and it is amazing that one of our ex-players is on that stage, but let's not pretend he's suddenly a great player worthy of a decent premiership team.
